This is always the hotel I prefer to stay in. I don't hear a lot of traffic from I-25, Lots of places around to eat, pick up coffee etc... And it is just lovely all the time. The decor is southwest, the artwork is lovely, the elevator has a clear panel in back so you can see the central lobby and all the floors go by. If I could change one thing, it would be to make sure you can recline in the bathtub. The swimming pool is great, part indoor, part outdoor, kid friendly.
Our stay was good. Very friendly staff. Good contenental breakfast. Rooms nice and roomy. Loved the art in the rooms. The only problem we had was with our car. The first night we stayed someone or some bodies broke into our vehicle and stole some of our belongings. They need to put cameras and more security for the premises.
Convenient, easy to find, right off the highway and offers free parking. Staff is reliable and will tend to your needs. unfortunately, when I was there, the sauna was not working and the pool was cold.
This was a nice hotel with an Indian Theme throughout. The breakfast was NOT cooked to order just pastries, waffles, yogurt, and boiled eggs.
Inncredible bartender, ( Angelica), made the most creative and delicious margarita i have ever had, and was awesome company.
Very friendly staff. Room was clean and view was nice. Free breakfast was nice, although unfortunate there was no fridge or coffeemaker in room. Pool felt amazing. Bar had good specials. Really enjoyed the calm atmosphere and not much hustle and bustle. Restaurant inside hotel and not far walk from other places. Even pet friendly! Will definitely stay again!!
Beautiful hotel! Very clean. Friendly staff. Great restaurant recommendation. Great happy hour and margaritas!
My stay was short I love the room. An it's decor however. The walls are to thin. An could hear every conversation but other than that it was a great stay
This place is fantastic! Convenient ro freeway and walking to restaurants and shops. The staff is amazing! Randy is the best! Comfortable, clean room. Nice bar with a nice happy hour. Decor is beautiful. Room spacious and clean. Continental breakfast good. Can't say enough great things about this place. Will definitely be back!
Beautiful but definitely for a older couple or just a relaxing quiet stay.
Cool hotel! Loved the Native American decor. Room was clean and had an amazing patio on the 5th floor. I will surely be back
Although this hotel could use a facelift, I found my room to be spacious and the bed comfortable. Traveling with a dog, it's impossible to dine in a restaurant without having to leave my pet alone in my car or in the hotel room. Although Nativo no longer offers room service, I was able to place an order at their restaurant and pick it up. All in all, I was pleased with my room and the staff during my overnight stay.
Staff at hotel very nice but the hotel needs work. My room was dated and shabby. Both lamp shades were torn and paint missing on one. The outlet behind the bed was missing an outlet cover, which is a fire hazard. If you have an attention for detail this is not the hotel for you. The giant deck is however is a great feature.
If you're looking for convenience and decent price, this is your place. It's by no means a 5star hotel so, if your room isn't vacuumed and you find a random pill on the floor, don't trip. You get what you pay for.
When I arrived at the hotel there was no luggage cart. We had to make multiple trips to bring our belongings to the room which was on the fourth floor. There is only one elevator in the building. I found makeup on one towel. We tried to order room service more than five times and no one answered the phone. Finally the desk clerk was able to put in my order. It was hard to sleep with the screaming children in the pool. Also, the hallway reeked of marijuana. I gave the hotel a try but would not stay there again. The limited staff that was there did the best they could.
We had a room in the back with the pool below us. People swimming were loud until 10:30 in the evening. Pool has an open area and a portion that goes into a building and the echo from the building was very loud. Rooms on the other side of the building faced the highway and were probably just as noisy.
It was ok for one night stay and the price was somewhat reasonable. It's not my kind of hotel to stay in because of the dark colors and it seemed very old. The beds were uncomfortable and the tub was not draining properly. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It did concern me that there were 2 police cars in the front when we returned to the hotel.
We have always enjoyed this hotel. Great decoration, comfortable rooms, helpful staff. Location is convenient for us, easy access to i25. Great restaurants nearby
A very last minute stay for just one night. The good: nice, big room with a patio. Responsive service -- I asked for an additional blanket, and they sent up 2 staff quickly to put the blanket into the king-size duvet for me (definitely a 2-person job!). Staff were friendly. The bad: the shower was broken. I did manage to get it on, but the water was lukewarm and the pressure wasn't great, and then I couldn't turn it off. I reported it to staff, who said they'd repair it. Also, the heater didn't seem to heat the room very well -- granted, I was there during a cold snap, so this might not be a problem during a more normal Albuquerque winter. Room had nice amenities and plenty of them, including a good selection of tea bags (not just plain old Lipton!). Cable was nice, many channels to choose from. The patio is a bit bizarre to me, because mine overlooked Paseo del Norte and I-25 -- traffic noise isn't a problem in the room, and you do get a nice view of the sunset, but other than that, it didn't strike me as a very nice place to sit and relax. The lobby of this hotel is very pretty, though. I didn't eat a the restaurant, so can't comment on it.
My sister, daughters and I came from different corners of NM to spend some time together, relax, and do a little business... the business part involved hiking down by the river. We were exhausted and so looking forward to the hot tub. The hot tub did NOT work...nor the sauna... very disapointed. That was our only negative for this hotel.
