I got the king bed with a couch. When I first went into the room it had a large wrap around couch with a king bed in a small separated room there was a small table a type of kitchenette. All surfaces were clean throughout the room. Unfortunately although the carpet vacuumed it was grimy and had many large and medium spots. The couch also had many stains. The bed was fairly comfortable and firm and pillows were fine. Since I needed my cpap there was only one half of a plug to use which when I pulled it out the light on my side of the bed and the box which had multi charger plug in’s (which work marvelously but are practically the middle of the small shelf) were off and the cpap just bairly fit on to the small shelf now. Fortunately I have a rubber pad to put my cpap machine on or the machine could slide around. I appreciated the glass glasses and the mugs rather than paper or plastic cups. As a side note, I understand why beds are up high to help making it easier but I am short so it is very hard for me to get up onto the bed.

Booked this traveling through town. Just needed a place to heat up dinner and sleep, and the price was reasonable for a holiday weekend. Overall the property was nice with an outdoor pool. Breakfast was adequate. I rated this property on the low side. While the room was spacious, there was no microwave (not sure if there was one in the lobby). The mattress was very worn and should have been replaced.

I pains me to write this review as I a loyal Hyatt customer. I will make this quick and too the point. The room and the whole property is in need a a complete renovation. Never have I stayed at a Hyatt property with this being Hyatt Place Albuquerque Airport and it be so terrible. Ill start by the state of the building from outside it looks ok not too bad but once you walk in you notice its quite dated. While I was there there was only one elevator (there is generally 2) in operation which made it extra annoying to have to wait 5-10 each time you needed to do anything downstairs we were on the 3rd floor. The second day we were over waiting so began just taking the stairs. Next the room itself rm: 318 was not habitable in my opinion. Once you enter the overwhelming smell of musty carpet was almost too much to bear, next was the cleanliness of the room itself. By the looks of it, cleaning had taken place inna quite haphazardly manner. Meaning seeing piles of crumbs like material in ever corner. That being said once we had been there for about 45 min I was sitting at the desk and my companion on the sofa and I see 3 middle size ROACHES run passed the back of the sofa around the nape of his neck. That was all it took for me to start checking the beds for bedbugs. When I pulled up the sheets and mattress cover I couldn't say definitely what they/it was bc I didnt have my glasses but bedbugs or not the mattress had "debris" in every diamond tuck indention. It looked like bugs!

​We were grateful for an early check-in, but unfortunately, the room had been marked as "inspected" despite not being cleaned at all. We walked into full trash cans, dirty towels, and an unmade bed. The front desk host handled it promptly by having it cleaned and offering a room change, though we declined the move since our luggage was already unpacked. They also offered us bottled water for the trouble. ​Once cleaned, the room itself was nice, cool, and offered a beautiful view. Free breakfast was a nice perk, and while you can hear the nearby airport, the noise didn't bother my family. ​However, we had another major issue the next day. After showering, I discovered grape jelly smashed into my dress. No one else had been in our room besides housekeeping, which was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the manager (or a woman who appeared to be) was seen keeping her dog inside the hotel and taking up two parking spots with her vehicle. ​The room and view are great once sorted out, but the property severely lacks attention to detail and professional management.
