The staff is great. The front desk was in contact with me before I arrived and responded to texts. They were able to accommodate an early check-in. My room was clean/tidy, but I wouldn't call it luxurious. My king room was not carpeted, which I prefer. The mattress was on a platform, which might be just a week bit low for someone who has challenges getting out of bed. It was fine for me. The public areas inside and outside are pleasant. Parking is easy near the elevators. One glitch - they lost Direct TV, so there was nothing to watch. I took it as a sign to ignore what is happening in the world and went to bed early! Had there been tv, I would have stayed up too late. I considered it an inconvenience that benefitted me. Breakfast - eggs and a bagel - exactly what I needed! Many great food options at Sawmill Market and many nearby restaurants. Very convenient to Old Town and museums.

Exceptionally beautiful older property—would be nice to have a shuttle to/from Amtrak station. We were able to walk it, but older guests may not be able to do so.

Outstanding property with a lot of stunning features and beautiful art decorating this historic hotel. The sister property El Chaco offers all the amenities of a modern hotel, but I’d rather stay in Hotel Albuquerque because of the tranquility and, furthermore, I felt the history when I was walking through the hotel and around the property. That’s always a very surreal feeling.

A wonderful and comfortable hotel, we wish we could have stayed longer! The interiors are amazing, with Southwestern and Spanish designs. The staff were very friendly, and the room was perfect. We will be staying showing for sure!
