The rooms are small not so much space, the staff were friendly, and the parking lot is also small. If you want to park in this hotel is $25 extra but not recommend parking here if you have a truck or SUV that is big because you don't have enough space.

We enjoyed our stay in this unique and friendly hotel. The pool was warm and perfect for a 75 degree October day. The lounge was comfortable as were the beds. The room was quite with good temperature control. There are many walkable restaurants and bars. It was about a 10 to 15 minutes Uber ride to old town and the airport and both cost less than $10. This has much more charm than your average chain hotel if you like that sort of thing! It is an old hotel that's been remodeled, so yes there are some signs of its vintage origins and overall I loved it.

Review for Zazz Hotel Other than the bathroom window randomly breaking (something from outside hit it and scared the absolute life out of me), my stay at Zazz was actually really good. The staff was very nice, cordial, and quick to act. When I told them I felt unsafe after the window incident, they immediately upgraded us to a “luxury” suite to make sure we were comfortable. That gesture alone showed how much they care about their guests. The area around the property does have a bit of a sketchy reputation, so I can’t say I was shocked that something weird like this happened. Thankfully, my girlfriend and I were okay, and it turned out not to be anything serious. The staff even showed me the security footage, and it just looked like a gust of wind blew something into the window. As for the hotel itself — it’s colorful, vibrant, and has some amazing touches. The hidden speakeasy was absolutely to die for, and the pool area was beautifully decorated and relaxing. Overall, I’d give the Zazz an 8.5/10 on the Zazz scale. 5/10 on whether I’d stay again — mostly because of the surrounding area and that random scare. That being said, if you’re looking for a unique, fun property with a staff that truly looks out for its guests, Zazz is worth considering.

Sleepless at Zazz

The code to the front door didn’t work. Housekeeping let me in with a master key. I was supposed to get a new code but never did. The bathroom was horrible. Dead bugs on the ceiling and the shower reminded me of Psycho. Then there was the noise… train goes by about every 20-30 minutes and the windows must be single Payne. There were people yelling in the parking lot… maybe homeless people… that happened about 3 am and again about 4 am. I would not stay here again. Plus the traffic is pretty loud.

The pictures look much better than the motel itself. Definitely not worth the price per night. The area is full of homeless people. Quite noisy location. The parking is $12/ day. Fun Environment

What a fun hotel! We loved the speakeasy to end our day. Room was clean and comfortable. The area was pretty sketching - not a great part of town, but we did feel safe on the property.

When we arrived the customer service was much below par - was interesting watching (who I would assume) was the manager giving her new employee a walk through of how to check customers in, which certainly wouldn’t be an issue if she wasn’t rude to him right in front of us. The room also smelled weird. Just an overall below average but not terrible experience.
