No hair dryer in the room. Had to wait until 8:30 the morning of departure for one of the limited ones on site, which delayed our exit. Charged for parking when the lot is only 1/2 full, which is a bit petty. No microwave, which is pretty standard for most places in this price range. Too few towels for a two person stay. They placed an extra pending charge to my account for "incidentals" of $160 w/o my knowledge. Their facility doesn't offer anything that expensive that could justify this hold and of course I didn't buy anything. Though they say this will be removed accordingly, I've never had such a high incidental hold placed on my account at any hotel including very high end luxury establishments.
It was a great place to stay that's in the middle of everything. MAKE SURE YOU RESERVE PARKING!

I really loved the z lounge and my room was incredibly awesome I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come into town.
Staff was great. This is not a high-end hotel with lot of amenities, near the airport, restaurants, if that is what you are looking for, go elsewhere. It is restored hotel in the middle of old town. It is quirky with charm. Ice is bagged ice in a room with a water fountain where you can fill up your water bottle. The remodel work looked like my carpenter work on my home, it works but a little rough around the edges. The imperfections were all part of the charm of the place. Kudos with the robes and slippers, yes, the floor was like a cold concrete slab. Good place for what it was, no complaints.

We pride ourselves in full transparency.The incidental charge is mentioned on the website as well as the paper you signed checking in. The reason for this amount is for various reasons, perhaps you would like a drink from the bar brought back to your room, or you would like to charge your facial and massage to your card on file. We charge a 10-dollar parking fee due to the fact that we are located in nobhill,a historical entertainment district with over 200 restaurants in the area and limited parking spaces. A quick glance at the text messages we send over would have answered all of your needs. We provide hair dryers at the front desk at any time during the day. as well as extra towels under the vanity in guest restrooms.
