Upon checking in we were assigned a room on the first floor as requested (105). We opened the door to be welcomed by a huge waterbug. We made a quick U-turn out of the room and back to the lobby desk. Guest services immediately assigned us a new room on the fourth floor which we very much appreciated. We enjoyed a restful night’s sleep and woke up expecting to take hot showers and instead were met with cold water only. We called guest services and were told multiple rooms called about hot water not working. After waiting 15 minutes for the promised hot water reset, we gave up and decided to proceed with our day and checkout. We headed down to breakfast, hard salty eggs, cold toast, frozen potatoes, maybe decent coffee… Thankfully, we were able to grab yogurt and get the heck out of there. Extremely disappointed is an understatement. The staff were very helpful and seem to work hard given their circumstances, but ownership has a lot of work to do here. I am very grateful we were just passing through. This place will not be a stop for us in the future and I would suggest avoiding it to give time for much needed improvements.
