I paid for the room via Expedia but upon arriving supposedly there was a separate house keeping fee. This felt like a scam despite it possibly being in the fine print in Expedia, but who seriously reads all that? The room is sub par and smells like cigarettes and ace cream.

Room wasnt ready and we checked in 2 hours late. Had to ask for towels each day , had to ask for kleenex and toilet paper. Keys kept not working. Had to pay for ice machine each time. No coffee maker and a burnt out lightbulb by closet. Ha only 2 thin pillows on a king bed , had to ask for more. TV remote didnt work and no clock. Never changed sheets , just remade the bed.

The inn was a good choice for us on our motorcycle trip. Parking was convenient and the area was safe enough. There were homeless people about (not just in this area though) but they didn't bother anything or approach anyone. The check-in clerk was very friendly and efficient. The room was fine, beds comfortable, water hot, sufficient space overall. It was just the ticket for an overnight stay. As a bonus, it was only a few blocks down from the old town and was on Route 66. As such, there was some road noise being so close to the Interstate and 66, but it was not bad. We'd stay there again.
