We got a king suite for a really great deal, for starters. The room was cozy and clean and current. The lobby and halls were beautiful and new. All staff we interacted with were happy and helpful. When we checked out the manager, I believe, was hanging around and was personal and friendly, a nice ending to a wonderful stay.
Was in town for a wedding and was able to make this our home during the stay. Not a bad stay although I feel the hotel to be a bit outdated. Due to my status with IHG they gave me a very nice upgrade. Very spacious, two room suite. The bathroom had multiple issues that I shared with the front desk. Overall cleanliness of the room certainly needs attention. Staff was extremely friendly and very professional. The rooms is what needs the attention.
This is a run down hotel past its time. The carpets in the hallways are stained and the ice machine smelled funky. They actually tried to give me a room unfit for occupation. I was on the top floor and poor plumbing caused sewer gas to billow into the room. They set the AC at 60 degrees to try and cover the stench. My replacement room right next door was slightly less stenchy but still had an odor. I recommend you avoid this motel.
The staff are nice and accommodating. Bar have pretty good cocktail selection. I will recommend chicken enchiladas with green chili on the side. It's Really good. They're fajitas is good too, enough to feed 3 person, huge portion.
We stayed just one night before our flight. Our room was clean and comfortable. Some time in the middle of the night our air stopped working and our room was hot. Our coffee make, fridge and microwave did not work seemed like it was not plugged in but you could not see the plug. No free breakfast we paid for breakfast disappointing. Would not have breakfast there again. They offer free parking while you travel however desk clerk said they have been having car break ins and suggest you park at the airport. I would think they would have cameras or security, not sure about staying there again knowing this.
I first stayed at Holiday Inns with my family as a child. They were always clean, comfortable, and accommodating. This one was a disappointment. The third floor room we stayed in is need of repair. The bathroom door would not fully close. There is a big gap around the exhaust fan - probably because they replaced it with a smaller unit but didn't feel a need to plaster the gap. And, it has a serious bug problem (probably coming through the gap around the exhaust fan). The room safe was not bolted to the floor and was missing the keypad. It was inoperable. The empty hair dryer bracket led us to ask the desk clerk for one. After all, it is listed on the website as an amenity. He curtly informed us that hairdryers were only available in suites. When confronted with the website information, he merely pointed out we did not have a suite. Although we didn't check in until Saturday October 7th, my credit card was charged for the entire stay on October 3rd. They still felt a need to place a $150 hold on it though. This hotel was not a good value for the cost, inconvenience, and indifference of the staff.
We stayed here for Balloon Fiesta. It's about 12 miles south, which was fine. Staff was friendly, but hotel itself was a bit tired. Very limited hours at restaurant and bar. Pool was OK. Parking was somewhat limited. Had to ask for extra coffee and coffee cup covers for the room. I know it was busy, but just not up to my usual expectations.
I have always wondered how people can have such different experiences with one place and this last weekend showed me. I reserved 2 rooms for the Balloon Fiesta, and both couples had very different experiences. Our room was clean and comfortable, with the exception of the pillows. The other couple had issues with barely any toilet paper, a non working coffee maker and a shortage of towels. They asked the front desk for toilet paper 3 times. On Saturday there room was not serviced and they still hadn't gotten toilet paper they finally got someone at the front desk to bring TP and towels. I tried the in room coffee and thought it was really bad, but since they have a sign stating they serve Starbucks coffee I thought no worries I will get coffee downstairs. When I asked which blend of coffee they had the gentlemen said Oh this isn't Starbucks, we have asked management to remove the sign but they don't. During our stay several people had their cars broken into as well so be sure your doors are locked and the alarm is set.
On September 27 I stayed at The Holiday Inn Sunport in Albuquerque New Mexico and there was not a good experience... Service in Restaurant is very slow... the waiters tried to their best but they didn't get it.. there is no water bottles in the rooms... I didn't feel satisfied with this stay...
Stayed here overnight and have no real complaints. Room was clean and more than adequate. Staff was nice and very helpful. They have a small bar on the property, drinks and food at the bar were good. The only negative was the distance to the pool. It was quite a walk, and if you're dripping wet a long walk is not ideal. Besides that, great stay.
