Even though the house is gorgeous and clean, what made this stay horrible was an incident that happened and the property manager didn't care. We had a great first few days there, but then one morning around 8am we were awakened by three men in a white van banging on the door. After no one answered, they began peeking through the windows and then trying to open the door and trying codes on the keypad. Due to us being only females in the house, we were not comfortable opening the door. I tried to contact the property manager, but no answer. We ended up calling the police. The men had left before the police got there. After a while, the property manager finally text me back and said that it was workers and they scheduled them for the wrong day. But, what kind of workers see cars in the driveway and look in windows of the house and try to open the door?! That's not normal. After the cop came and inspected the house he said that the back door would not lock properly so we needed to be careful and there are also no security cameras on the outside, so none of this was captured. After explaining our alarm and fear and asking for a refund for our remaining days because we don't feel safe anymore, the manager stated they would not give any refunds and then completely ignored me. So, I had to find another VRBO that we actually felt safe at and my cost was double. As a former landlord, I am appalled at the unprofessional nature and lack of empathy from this property team.
