The location is very good and so are the looks of the hotel. But there are a few things that bothered. 1. Parking was not free even though i clearly remember while booking that it showed free parking. 2. Bathrooms have no ventilation and no exhaust. It can become rally smelly :( 3. The curtains cant be drawn over the entire window... only on the sides. The rest of the window is only covered by a thin white see through curtain. It may be blocking the view from outside, I dont know, but it gives an uncomfortable feeling that you can be seen from outside as you can see through it from the room. 4. Breakfast was just ok. Good : 1.The pantry is good for immediate requirement 2. Room was furnished with utensils and cutlery. So you can cook if you need to. 3. Staff was friendly.

Excellent location, safe place, humble service, Rooms are clean but no fan in bathroom for air circulation

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures could have been a bit cleaner, especially inside the toilet bowl; but overall the room was relaxing. I loved the remotness of the area, which very quiet. There was always a movie to watch on TV; and the breakfast was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again at the Staybridge Suites.

We had two rooms both were to be non smoking. We got one room non smoking and the other room smoking with trash cans full with beer bottles and a T.V that didn't work. But still got charged for switching rooms to a cleanier non smoking room. Other than that it was good.

The hotels location is awesome on and off the freeway. This was our 3 stay ay this hotel, the overall stay was ok but housekeeper was horrible after a long hot day at the theme parks the room was half clean trash still in trash cans. It was a total of five of us she only replaced one set of towels had to make several trips to front desk to help. Des is the best

Location was good , room was great ,clean and big. The staff was great and girl in the front desk was very respectful and kind

First of all, when we checked in, the young man at the recepcion desk kept ignoring myself and the previous guest in line. This occurred about 9:00 PM on Sunday 04/21. The employees from Amtrak were allowed to recieve immediate attention even though they arrived later than us. The Amtrak employees were immediately ckecked in to their rooms.Secondly, the man at the recpcion desk attempted a "bait & Switch" on the hotel room. We had requested and paid for a 1 Bedroom suite. The recepcion desk clerk kept insisting that we did not pay for that 1 bedroom rate.

Room was clean and staff was great. The food was good, too. The cost was a little high compared to other hotels I have stayed in.

It was in very convenient location to access to the downtown area with that price. But, it has a really small pool, and nothing to spend time at hotel with kids......

Wonderful, courteous, helpful staff from the front desk to the kitchen, especially those serving the hot/cold breakfast buffet and the evening happy hour beer and wine. We stayed 4 nights, loved our clean, new suite with kitchen. About a 10 minute walk to the Riverwalk, a good way to exercise after eating so much. Wonderful weather to explore the sites of San Antonio, 65-75 degrees in December! We were also able to purchase all-day bus passes at the front desk and saw the city this way.

Always love to stay here. Minor issue checking in but [...] were more than helpful to resolve the problem. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past summer and we will be back. Great breakfast (come early to avoid long lines), walking distance to downtown. Everyone was very friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.

The room was excellent. It took a while to get checked in, but that was because of the number of people staying over with the event. The staff was professional, calm and offered everything we needed, including a place to put our luggage and a phone call when the room was ready.

Everything was good and what I expected except half of the laundry machines were not working.

The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant, and the one or two interactions we had with other staff were equally friendly.

The Staybridge Suites had excellent employees. They were very courtious.

Hotel staff was beyond great! Very friendly! We arrived earlier than expected and the staff was able to find a room for us before the check-in time. The rooms are excellent, no funny odors or noisy and very clean. Only thing that was not convienent was the parking which was a small walk but the overall hotel stay made up for that.

The hotel is in a good location and was very nice, the suites were clean and comfortable, the staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was not the best but it was adequate. The Riverwalk and Mall is a short walk from the hotel. The parking can be an issue, as the parking area at the hotel is very small and additional parking is about two blocks away. We had a great time in San Antonio, and would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was great overall. It's a small hike from Riverwalk and downtown, and it's a nice little walk - except for the heat! The staff could not be more helpful and courteous, and we had everything we needed. The free DVD rentals, the nicely appointed kitchen with the basic cooking essentials, and the spacious rooms were great. The hotel was very quiet, and we felt very at home (even with a 10-month old!). The only complaint we had were that some small cleaning details were overlooked. For example, it was clear that the kitchen (tile) floor had not been freshly cleaned before we checked in. The bed was SO comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space so that we didn't have to live out of our luggage. The continental breakfast is pretty good, although they shut it down right when they say they will so be on time! The Tue-Thu receptions are also a really nice bonus. The pool is a little on the small side, but if you are just looking to cool down, it's perfect...but not really recommended for a family with small children (not much room to play, splash, etc.). Overall, we were very please with this hotel, and we would definitely stay there again. Oh, and the free parking is a super big plus - and it's only about a 2 min walk away, so really not as big of a hassle as some reviews have made it sound.

We came to San Antonio for the weekend. The location of hotel isn't in Downtown area, so you have to walk like 10 min to get to River walk. it's not that bad, but they didn't mention it in the hotel description. The suit we have was really nice and clean, the continental breakfast was good too. The pool was small and faced the highway, so I didn't want to hang out there. In general, I can give the hotel solid B.

My wife and I stayed at the Staybridge Suites during Fiesta for the weekend. After looking at all the hotels around the Riverwalk, we found that this one had the best deal. I think it's cheaper than most because it's right on the other side of the highway from the Riverwalk. That didn't matter because it was only a 5 minute walk to the mall. If you needed to go to the Market Square, there was a bus/trolley stop right across the street which was convenient. The hotel staff was VERY friendly. I don't remember her name but she helped us out a lot and told us about all the things going on. The only thing I didn't like was the eggs at the free breakfast, but it's free and they had a lot of other good food anyways. Over all I had a very good experience and when we come next year, we will probably book here again.
