I submitted this review because finally a quiet hotel. So many sleepless nights in hotels due to noise etc. this hotel was silent and comfortable.
They now charge for $25 for parking despite being the suburbs and have about 5 football fields worth of parking. No other "Mall of America" are hotel charges to park. I wont stay again, too many other good choices in the area.
Very nice property. Very nice bartender. Close to where we were visiting
Good
Very nice Hilton in a great location. Self-Parking was confusing, due to not getting the best instruction for getting from lot back to hotel. Privacy sign on door didn’t stop room service from knocking on door waking me up.
comforter had a dried stain of a specific sort. Called front desk. They said they would replace. Never did… called again and we’re brought up a fitted sheet and led the stained comforter. I did share this experience with front desk at check out. They offered a discount.
I requested a specific credit card of mine to be used and was assured that would happen. When my son checked in they switch credit card. I told HILTON that my card should be used for the room charge and that any other incidental should be charged to my son’s card. MAJOR screwup by Hilton causing problems at my end. Thus the terrible review.
Coffee maker & accessories were dusty. No creamer available
Stayed here to walk to a Twins game - good location for that. Felt safe walking downtown. Lots of food options between hotel and field.
Lamp unplugged. Horrible directions to parking
The parking was convenient and easy. The "included continental breakfast" turned out to be a $10 voucher at the market in the lobby, but with higher prices $10 didn't cover much and it was not an eat-in space - very awkward with kids. We ended up having to go eat elsewhere each day.
Easy to get to Dining all around the area and Entetainment
We enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly. We reserved two rooms, one of which had burn marks on the floor. Everything else was pretty good except for how slow the elevators were and how many people were staying there which caused us to have to wait 10-15 min every time we went somewhere as we were on the 12th floor. Taking the stairs with all our stuff was not feasible.
Nice downtown location. Close to the stadium
