What kind of hotel closes the lobby at 11 p.m. and leaves guests outside??

I arrived at 10pm after 18 hours of traveling. Friendly check-in clerk saw I was lugging a lot of luggage and changed me to a ground floor room, and authorized a late checkout until noon. The hotel had everything I needed for my overnight stay - clean bed, comfortable temperature, good shower with ample hot water, and a decent enough breakfast bar with instant oatmeal. The only negative is it’s not particularly close to public transport hub, so I had to use Lyft twice.

Booked a non-smoking room. Confirmed my reservation was for non-smoking and the room was labeled as non-smoking. Previous customer had smoked heavily in the room, I found two empty plastic wraps from cigarette packs. Asked for a new room and was told they were fully booked, but they would see what options they could offer. No call back. Asked again the next evening and again no return call. Follow-up calls went unanswered.

Im not usually too picky but I did not have a good experience. 1st I was given a room that was already occupied. I seriously asked if they were looking to get me shot! 2nd, the room felt old and dirty to me. Just a little beyond my taste and I wasn't expecting much to begin with.

When I arrived, I was told the my Orbitz reservation was NOT paid, and required to pay prior to check-in. At this point, I have been charged TWICE for the room, and am working with Orbitz to correct the error. Aside from that, the hotel was less than impressive. The AC unit was slightly broken, and had to be turned to Low Heat to have the AC actually work, and it was extremely sticky to the touch, which is not at all comforting. The carpet had a mystery stain, which I could have done without. When I arrived in the room there was no remote, and I had to be given 2 remotes before one would work, and was told that was my last option. If they didn't work, I would be without a remote until the next day. Also, there were cobwebs in the shower that were only noticeable when the steam collected while I took a shower. Ultimately, I ended up leaving after one night of my stay due to the condition of the room. I would strongly advise staying at the Extended Stay in Reston, VA

Loud construction equipment outside of our room and they WOULD NOT MOVE US!! NEVER CLEANED OUR ROOM FOR THE 3 nights we stayed....no clean towels...no made bed...horrible customer service.

There was a kitchenette but no dishes or even silverware

Great for the price. I would stay here again and I believe they where in the process of updating beds and linnens as I left

Reserved a double bed room and paid extra $15 for it, received a king room with no refund? Reserved a non-smoking room and verbally confirmed that it's non-smoking, but it still smelt like a lot of smoke? Blood on the bathroom floor!? No trash bag/bin in the room?

Easy check in and a very good location. Restaurants within easy walking distance.

After staying in a different Extended Stay, my expectations were extremely low. Upon walking in the front door though, I was greeted with a smile and with great service. The attitude of all three employees rivaled those of a Chick-fil-a employee. I would definitely come back. (It's definitely a budget hotel but I got more value than what I paid.)
