Originally, my request was for the Royal Villas. We had upgraded to the Royal Villas 3 years ago and every time we request to stay in the Royal Villas, our request is always DENIED because the "Chairman Circle" has top priority. The Chairman Circle's priority was not told to us at the time of the upgrade. I wonder why? Could it be that they wanted to make a sale? Anyway, we did stay at the Crown Villas and the first Crown Villa was a complete disaster. The villa was completely worn and tired looking. The furniture was very old, worn and didn't match. The villa needed a complete make over. Also, there was no water pressure. I called maintenance and the problem was fixed. However, the next day, we had no water in the villa. You could not take a shower or flush the toilet. We were moved to another Crown Villa which was very nice. In my opinion, if a villa is not in excellent condition, Lifestyle should not rent it out. Lifestyle should insist that the owner of the villa refurbish the villa or they should remove that villa from the list of villas to rent out. As a vacationer, you pay a lot of money for a beautiful villa and you do not want to be disappointed, embarrassed, inconvenience and have your time wasted moving to another villa.

This was the first time I used my upgraded membership here at lifestyle. I was excited to come with family and spend a few days enjoying the amenities we were sold. Upon arrival to our villa I find that the 5 bedroom was really a three bedroom with an annex with two separate rooms across in a courtyard. Very odd layout and not what I expected since I was planning on having all my kids under one roof. The house was very worn down. The kitchen had an old rusty stove that I didn’t even attempt to turn on since it required matches to be able to turn on. The fridge was also rusty and had most of its shelves missing and no draws. No microwave and no way to heat my baby’s food. Had to call to get a microwave that I tried to use but also didn’t work. It turned on by didn’t heat. We asked to have wine and whisky brought to the villa but and it never arrived. This was a total disappointing experience. I was really embarrassed to bring family and friends to this place. I also found that the service at the restaurants were slow and the staff was not friendly. I’ve been coming to this resort for over ten years and during this stay I really noticed a decline in customer service. Also found out opón arrival that one of my favorite spots (serenity beach) was closed. No alternative given. Also checked in on a Sunday where I expected to come to the welcome party and that didn’t happen. Not only didn’t they not have the welcome party but they didn’t even try to make it up. I had to practically beg to get a Resturant reservation for that night since they were only offering the buffet. Additionally I had some other family members that had to stay in another section of the resort cause they didn’t offer a big enough villa for everyone. We were not able to make dinner reservations together cause they claimed it was different. So much for having a family gathering. We were not able to dine together not even one night. But to top it off the worst part was that my baby was turning one and I asked for a little cake for his first birthday picture and it was denied since it had to be requested 24 hours in advance. Are you kidding me you don’t have an extra cake to can provide for such and important occasion. Oh almost forgot. The house was dirty and lots of mosquitos. The first day o got an allergic reaction to something where I ended up having to go to the doctor and payed over $300 to get a Benadryl equivalent shot. And just to point out a few other things: kitchen cabinet door broken, shower head broken, stinky first floor main bath smelled like poop, missing kitchen cabinet handles, broke kitchen cabinet draws, dated furniture, filthy stained curtains, dirty grounds(lots of leaves and branches in the yard) and many other things. This is not what I paid for. Very dissatisfied with my stay. Oh and no internet WiFi available in the villa. Not one jacuzzi in this villa.

Did seven days at lifestyles and it was a disaster first villa had no air conditioning in the shared areas well if you come with other people ( the main reason to get a villa) how can you enjoy it when it’s 300 degrees in the common areas.Ok so they let us know they will try to move us. Only to be told that villa had no air conditioning. The golf cart we were assigned back fired the whole trip and everyone we passed thought we were shooting at them. As a past guest I see the quality of the food has gone down and before I forget No Sunday Party it was cancelled. Lifestyles has turned into a big disappointment the whole trip you are accosted by salesmen to buy into a dying ship. Two beaches have been closed and one of the buffets too so they are packed and always too crowded.

There is nothing great or good about this place. If it were not for my fun traveling companions I would have left the the same day I arrived. Accommodations are disgusting, no running water on day 1. After arguing with member service we were moved to a different room but just as bad. Restaurant options are blah, buffet has Horrible food, and you just have to pray you don’t get sick! The place is just an overall dump. Rusty bathroom and kitchen fixtures, barely any water pressure in shower or kitchen makes me wonder how rooms are cleaned. Villa bathroom are absolutely disgusting and outdated. I don’t know how this is even a 2 star resort let alone 4 star. The pic below is non-working bidet that is awkwardly placed right in front of the equally disgusting outdated shower stall. God help you if you slip! I’m an easy going gal but this place is a cesspool of germs. And did I mention there are barely any pools here instead they have these awkwardly placed jacuzzis all over the place filled with toddlers and adults that never step out to use the restroom. I’ll let your imagination ponder that one...I did not see one person testing or cleaning these jacuzzis/mini pool levels. I did not even see a functioning pool filter. When I asked if the water was from the ocean the response it is was “freshwater”! If anyone owns a pool you know you need to treat that water regularly. Lastly there are flies everywhere!

This my first time in Dominican Republic and my group of girls tremendously enjoyed ourselves. I have nothing bad to say about the resort, but I wish there was Wifi access in more areas of the resort. Lifestyle Holiday Vacation Resort will always be my place to stay.

The Place we stayed was awesome, The Service at our place was good ... BUT, If your NOT A V.I.P. You CANNOT use half the place. Your forbidden to use certain Beaches and Restaraunts and Bars. You HAVE TO SPEND at LEAST $100,000.00 to become a VIP, Everyone else is treated SUB PAR . They got us there from the airport FREE , And Since we DIDN'T Buy anything, It's $55.00 per person to get BACK to the airport when you leave. We Were PRESSURED for 2 DAYs about Giving them My 2 Timeshares as a down payment for a membership with them. Kinda hard to enjoy your Vacation. They put us in our Villa WITHOUT a golf cart, SO, We would have to call for a ride if we wanted to go anywhere and since it wasnt on the bus route , Of Coarse they're looking for a tip ... OH EVERYONE is Looking for a TIP. Not My Kind of Place to Vacation, Not my kind of people ( SNOBS WITH ALOT OF $$ ) I Won't Be Back.

We had a 6 bedroom villa with a pool & chef who cooked us breakfast every morning. The breakfast was amazing & the maid service was outstanding. Thank you, Joel, who went out of his way to get us everything we needed for an amazing week.

Always an amazing vacation. This was our second year there and it was even more spectacular. We stayed at The Crown Villas which was so relaxing. At The Crown Villas you have a maid who cleans your room and makes breakfast for you at your desired time. Every room has its own bathroom and closet space. There is also a private pool and lounge chairs surrounding it. Depending on the villa you might have a cabana and a lot of backyard space. FYI a villa is like a house there is a kitchen, dining room, living room, and half bath. In the resort there are pools, a spa, bars, restaurants, casinos, beaches, parties, shows, and gift shops. Now the reason there is 4 out of a five on my review is because the restaurants there aren't really good. The seafood restaurant and Mexican restaurants were the worst it was terrible but the buffet, churrascaria, and the Asian places were the best. Highly suggested. The beach was beautiful and the sushi bar was delicious. The service was great front desk was amazing and the waitresses were great. Overall the experience was amazing and we definitely plan on going back.

Love this resort and the concierge Natali belen is the best! This was our second stay and we plan to return as often a as we can. Great experience, a lot of fun, and very relaxing. If you are lucky you will get Natali she is the best !

This was a very relaxing vacation for my husband and two children. We enjoyed the food and service and the different restaurants. We enjoyed the beach and the pool. Anabel was helpful and the maid service was great.
