Loved the breakfast overlooking the beach! Individual carts for quests and cold towels upon check in were a nice unexpected treat.

just great in every level, the food the best entertainment great, tennis shooting horseback riding it s all their

I opted for the Elite Patio Hotel Room: near lobby, restaurants, pool, and came with a golf club car (which includes a gps that helps you independently navigate grounds). Our room was meticulously kept, the most comfortable pillow top bed I have slept on in my life, everything was restocked, L'Occitane toiletries, the patio view was stunning, slippers were out every night. Free breakfast buffet at Lagos everyday because I am an Orbitz VIP travel member. I have high standards, travel often all over the world, and this place is natural tranquility and perfection. You wake up happy here every morning. The air, food, staff, amenities, location, attention to detail are everything. You are made to feel like royalty. I took the golf cart to La Marina for dinner at their amazing restaurants, went to their movie theater, and shopped at their boutiques (stop by Jenny Polanco-fashion designer for amazing one of a kind accessories). Monica gave us a wonderful private tour of Altos de Chavon. It is designed to look like a mediterranean villa and also includes restaurants and boutiques. Shuttle service was always available if we didn't want to drive the cart. I have never been tended to by such amazing and humble people. They called our room everyday to ensure we were okay and see if we needed anything. The villas and landscapes are breathtaking. I ended my trip with the spa, a MUST. This is a place I will come to every year for sure! Only con is the beach.

Whilst the hotel location, amenities, variety of restaurants and facilities are world class, attention to detail is lacking. Service from staff is not always prompt and inter staff conversations have to be finished first! Staff are very friendly but I believe management should impress upon them the need to put customer first. Small things lacked, eg. the requested daily newapaper was delivered correctly on the first morning then each day varied from the wrong paper to no paper. The bedroom floor never felt perfectly clean and we were bothered nightly by mosquitoes.

very large rooms&well furnished greatgolf/nicebeach/we never had a bad meal while we were there had our own golf cart to go any where on the property lots to do watched couple of polo matches golfed teeth of dog&dye fore two great coures took toure of cigare factorey which was only 10 minute drive away toured las chaivs small town on property build of stone on the steep banks of the chaivs river.had wonterful weeks holiday.

Room, Service and Surroundings were all perfect. Only thing I would improve is the price, but this hotel really deserves more than just 5 stars.

The only thing that was good about the hotel was the silence that if u need to rest that's the perfect place to be. There was no entertainment there was alot of construction bring done . The staff was not friendly at all . I've stayed at diffrent resorts before and this is far from 5 stars. Everywhere u drove in the golf cart all u saw was construction. U hardly even saw people there . I have a 9 month old and at 9 pm they were knocking on my door cuz they said we were making to much noise , mind u the noise was only while I changed my babys diaper . Not happy w this place at all it felt almost like they were doing me a favor.

If you want something different this the place to go, every guess get a golf car to move around the property and believe it you need it, this place is huge, you must go to Chavon, great restaurants, amazing view of the river and great golf courses.

This is a beautiful, quiet place. The people are great! Very kind and helpful and do the best they can at every job. We loved it.

the golf courses are out of this unbelievable! Altos de Chavon feels like another world

Casa de Campo is an upscale but laid back resort. You can golf cart yourselves over to the beach, which is absolutely lovely. The luxury room that we stayed in had dark mahogany plantation style shuttered/louvered doors and cool tile floors which kept the room cool and was very restful. We ate at the restaurant overlooking the pool and had a lovely meal, but an expensive and limited wine selection. The concierge services were great, and the complimentary minivan rides to Altos de Chavon and La Marina were very convenient. We would definitely stay there again.

Casa de Campo was a wonderful experience, spread out over 7000 acres, it seems like you are by yourself at times!! Extremely relaxing and wide open rooms made it an awesome vacations!! Lots of dining options with excellent food!!
