I’ve been in this resort before now is a waist of time everything has change the is horrible and bad quality of food I got intoxicated by food I got stomachache headache was the worst trip in my I will never back to this resort the butfet is empty no options bad at all and the drink bad quality try somewhere else

This Resort is OK at best. I’ve been to many resorts in Dominican Republic and so far this is the worst. They have Vendors who pressure you about buying timeshares. My Room was crawling with Nasty Roaches. My Room still had guest in it when I arrived. Even after check in and given key. Room was dirty. Had to wait 2 hours for it to be cleaned. My room key had to get activated every night. Which means an unexpected walk to reception desk. Food at the buffet was cheap. The Brazilan Restaurant was amazing! If you decide to go to the Resort make sure you make dinner reservations. Pool was good, but no in pool bar.

The staff is sad, pool closes at 7pm when the sun still out. At the same time they make People get out from the beach again when the sun is out. Pool not ready until about 10am . It is better to go to public beach and rivers you won’t have these ridiculous rules, which is only good to save money for sesorts. Any way they don’t have live Guards at anytime neither on the pool or there beach. Service is poor, Rooms no too clean and humid moisture etc. I regret not listening to some of the negative feedbacks I read on the reviews. Now is your turn to find out.

What I liked most about my Be Live experience was the hotel staff. They are the best!!!

food is not great, place is not too clean, there’s not that much to do, we called housekeeping 3 times and waited an hour and no one came to solve our problem....go elsewhere

This hotel was overall good. The food is a little bit bland. The Wifi sucks out there. Its not free, once you in your room.

I brought my grandmother in for a day pass at the reception didn't allow her to have a towel for the pool and she is 65 years old and was feeling very tired but she wasn't allowed to go into my room to rest for a little while. And one more thing that i dislike is that the day pass started at 11am, I feel it should start earlier around 9am. I stayed there for about ten days and I like to bring family over but with all of those restrictions and rules i might consider staying at a different place next time.

I loved my room with the balcony overlooking the beach. I liked the cleanliness of the room, the water pressure and hot water which is a problem in some resorts. The food was good and service was great. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the resort when it was one of the few resorts there with rooms available but was pleasantly surprised. I have been to Puerto Plata many times and would stay there again

The food and staff were phenomenal, upgrades needed to beach chairs and rooms, tub leaked and room cleanliness needs work.

We stayed in an Ocean View Room 3217. The first day upon arrival our roomed smelled like mildew. They said it was the AC. Then the AC was leaking on the floor they said it was just condensation. We were told we couldn’t shut off the ac. The next day the cleaning lady said that the water on the floor must have been the vent pipes frozen that it defrosted and would not leak anymore. By this point my wife was already sick from being with the ac on full blast all night. The AC still would not shut off. The third night, I couldn’t it anymore, my wife had a fever and could not stop coughing. I demanded that someone come to the room to look at it. The custodian came and that what we were told was wrong. He opened the thermostats and shut it off. It was too late, my wife is still sick. On top of this now my son is sick too. We ended up calling the doctor at 2am in the resort. The doctor was nice but the fee just to see her was $250 US dollars. Then the cost of medicine, $288 total . We checked out of the hotel early the same morning. Now my son had a 102.6 fever and we ended up going to the ER in Santiago. The cost of the ER was another $50 plus medicine $50. All because someone at the resort didn’t know how to shut off an AC. When we were there, another couple was complaining about mosquitos in their room. That’s because the glass sliding doors don’t close properly. The food was extra salty as well. I was throwing up the last night. I do not recommend this place

The hotel was nice, the staff was nice, the food was good. Very good service! Frank the customer service manager was very very helpful and worked very hard to help meet our expectations.

I really love this resort. It’s the reason I went back. My only issue is with the breakfast; always the same things. They need to let customers know every one is not always up at certain time of the night and they need to keep the noise down. Was a problem with the mosquitoes this time. But over all it’s a nice place, nice staff. Will definitely go back.

The hotel is rude place they are so strict with Dominicans customer we got bad experience they cut the bracelets the last day about 12 they won’t give us service about 1 at the beginning they use to say about 3 you could use all services was a lie we couldn’t drink and eat after 1 was disrespectful in the booking said you could stay and drink till 3 is so racist if you are Dominican go away they use to do it with Dominican not with foreigners the entertainment is so boring the same everyday and at the disco they only play bachata the whole night people get tired about it they do everytime the Dj doesn’t play good music tourists don’t like the fact they only play bachata and merengue and don’t play American music I will never come back again

ok where do I start. This resort ruined my family vacation. It was a nightmare. Apparently they overbooked hundreds of people. they didn't have enough rooms and when we went to check in we didn't have a room. Not only didn't we have a room but we didn't have a decent hotel to stay at. after hours and hours of waiting for a room they finally said they had to send us to another resort for one night until they have rooms. they send us to the worst hotel. omg I still remember my 6 year old daughter crying because she was terrified to stay in that other room. They gave us some one else key literally a key when we open the door someone was already there. they send us to another room where there were so much roaches that the guy had to come and spray for the bugs. anyways we slept with out clothes on praying to get out of there asap. next day we go to argue with be live front desk because this was unacceptable. we needed a room asap. after a few hours the nice front desk guy helped us and found us a room in Sunscape resort. now that was very nice, updated rooms, good food I really loved it there. the point of my review is that I will never book with be live for the fear of not having my room when I get there and going through the same nightmare my family went
