My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Everything was just ok, until we came home and saw someone was able to access our banking account from which my card was used to book the hotel. I booked with my debit card, as well as buying something from the resorts pharmacy with the same card. When we came home from the trip we realized there had been a western union transaction made… which then became 2 more totaling over $1000. We used the tracking number from western union listed on the account details from the purchase and it lead right back to Santo Domingo Dominican Republic. As well as other random charges made somewhere else on the island. So someone that works at the hotel clearly scanned our card and was able to break into our entire banking account. This is only a few days from leaving so I’m sure they’ll continue to take money until the banks open back up Monday so we can close the account and reopen another—— definitely not what anyone needs after trying to have a getaway

Vacation for 4 days March 2024. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious and we always look forward to our meals there. We love spending our days lounging by the pool and taking in the stunning views of the ocean. Overall, our stay at this hotel was once again fantastic and we can't wait to come back again in the future. Shout out to Carlito and Jenny I believe was her name amazing bartenders.

0 customer service, staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Food was horrendous and each time it took an hour at minimum to get our meals. Very hard to find drinking water, when we asked for safe water to drink it took 3 hours, 3 phone calls and 3 in person conversations to get a bottle of water. People are constantly trying to sell you excursions and other things even on the resort. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and there was no music playing for the majority of the stay. There was little to no entertainment (shows, live music etc.). The beach was also very small and had a lot of seaweed. Not to mention there were many people ambushing you down on the “private resort beach”. The restaurant and shopping center times were posted on the website and on the doors, but most of the time when we showed up they said they weren’t actually open. There was also construction happening while we were there and you could constantly hear hammers and other banging. Not relaxing at all. This was by far our worst “vacation” experience we have ever had. I would never go back again and would highly suggest looking for a different resort.

Wonderful resort, property and location. Friendly accommodating staff, great selection of food and drink. Gratuitous should be included in an all inclusive restore, so that cash need not always be on hand. If you didn’t tip sometimes you were made to feel uncomfortable. That should never be the case. We would definitely return but would like this to be considered.

Resort was a good size, not huge and easy to get around. Staff were great as was the food. Only negative aspect is that people smoke everywhere. No designated areas like in most of the civilized world. Wife has alergies and second hand smoke is one of them. Sad that you have to limit where you go and lounge around to avoid this.
