The front desk staff was incredibly friendly. The room was you average hotel room. Nothing fancy, but clean and well kept.

The hotel is very close to the stadium and not too far from downtown. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Despite the ongoing renovations, it was clean. Our particular room was a bit noisy (we could hear the heater and the ice maker or laundry room all night) but comfortable. The breakfast was OK.

My daughter picked this place for the modern decor and loved it! The proximity for shopping and food was awesome. The hotel staff was great and had a great time in the game room!

I loved my stay in Modera Hotel. All personnel is very courteous and helpful. The restaurant on the first floor is amazing! I had a great breakfast and since it was in the Holidays it was super festive, cozy with fire pits outside, and has a great view. The hotel is located in the very downtown of Portland and there is a bus station just outside the hotel in case you need to use public transportation. I enjoyed so much my stay and I'm planning to come back soon with my husband to enjoy the city!

One of our favorite spots to stay in Portland! Wish it could have been longer! Love the restaurant, great food, & nice ambiance whether Indoors or outdoors !

Nice hotel, excellent staff they tried to be accommodating and supportive. Very small room with a view of a tarp on a section of a living rooftop made for an unsightly view.

Good downtown location convenient to farmer's market and public transportation. Walled garden great for relaxing. Restaurant with reasonable prices, good food and very nice ambiance. The patio is great!

Staff was very responsive. Got hypoallergenic bedding quickly. Had vehicle ready at 4:45 am (for eclipse trip). Gave good directions. Always had a cheerful hello Room was clean and comfortable but a little small. No views.

Hotel is adequate. Check in was an awful experience which took over a half hour with no apology - computer and/or staff knowledge problems. Tried to charge us double what we had reserved. In general staff were unimpressive, unhelpful. Room was ok but horribly noisy - awful air conditioning system or else very loud street/truck noises. Nowhere to sit and read. No bathroom door (sliding door which either covers the closet OR barely closes the bathroom - bizarre. Very bad shower. Hotel corridors are narrow, dark, dirty. There was debris on the carpet always. Hotel cart with room supplies left in the corridor all the time - blocking egress. No business center - nowhere to work. Very limited internet. Restaurant is excellent. Patio is lovely. Access to local streetcar, art museum, historical society was great. Access to shopping etc is a bit of a hike.

Great city hotel, close to everything great about Portland.

Nice place to stay , easy access to downtown Portland

Great location for fine dining, night life and activities. Just a few blocks from Portland State University and the Willamette River. The hotel has a friendly staff and the rooms were modern and clean.

Great location! Very nice and modern hotel. Would recommend to anyone Staying in the area

Stay was good. Bathtub needed to be replaced and they didn't stock soap before we got into the room

Great central location - friendly staff for sure - nice comfortable beds

We arrived two hours before check in but were able to take advantage of valet parking. The staff offered and stored our bags so we didn't have to go haul them later. From there we left on foot to downtown, just a 15 min walk. Staff warned us of chance of rain and lent us an umbrella which I'm still extremely thankful for, it saved us! Will be staying here next time.

Very nice but room a little stuffy - could use better circulation. Maybe our fault for not running the ac/heater properly.

Our room was a little loud due to street noise but otherwise fun hotel with good location.

The Modera is very comfortable, with rooms that go beyond the average hotel room in terms of decoration. Furnishings are like those of any normal room, however, and sometimes a bit worn.

This motel is a fully remodeled old Days Inn (or something like that).. beds are comfortable, decor is top notch, and staff are ready and willing to make your stay great. The only complaint we had was that the rooms were quite small.
