Hotel is ok. Staff friendly. Room up to standard for the chain. Room smelt a bit like damp dog / carpet deodorant, but not a major issue. Handy place for visiting Ajax / Pickering. Close to 401 if travelling by. Hotel ok would stay again.

Stayed here for four nights visiting relatives. Overall we had a good experience. The room was clean and staff generally helpful. The hotel could use a renovation/cleaning though as the lobby sofa areas appeared not so clean. It was nice to see they had security on staff patrolling areas. We did have to ask for extra towel sets for our family of four as they initially gave us 3 then 2 the next day so the housekeeping could maybe keep track of that better. No big deal though. We stayed on the top floor which was nice. We had a way better stay than at the hotel across the parking lot that we stayed at two years ago. Location was perfect for us as it was close to the 401, McDonalds, Costco, the Keg, and other amenities. Plenty of parking was a bonus.

The hotel was very clean outside and lobby but my room had a bad odor. I think it’s the carpet in the room. They should clean or replace it. The staff was wonderful.
