At check in, they charged me double than what was indicated on the Orbitz’ site. At checkout, the paperwork provided showed the right amount. I’m currently waiting on my bank statement for confirmation on amount charged. After a long first day in Orlando, we came to a “totally clean” room. I mean, for some discrepancy on the system, they thought the room was vacant and proceeded to pack all of my stuff and threw away all of my food. Only good thing, nothing aside from the food was missing. The bag was labeled and dropped off by the front desk.

Though the location was perfect, it was a dissapointing stay, 'coz, (A) Smart card didnt work: Even after several tries by their service staff, the smart card to open the room door didnt work. They took ONE day to fix it. (B) Didn't acknowledge the inconvinience caused: I faced a similar situation a couple of years back in a different hotel and they discounted my rates significantly and apologized for the inconvinience. But not this one. (C) Room condition is very basic: If you are along and just want to hop in for a sleep and dont bother about anything else, then it's fine I guess. If you are coming with family and sure they will not find anything good or impressive here (D) Do note, it is not ONE building with ONE entrypoint. Meaning, if the weather conditions are not favorable you will be spending time figuring out your entry point, will be exposed to rain or cold before you enter the room and there is no cart for your luggage. So you will have to CARRY THEM yourself. (E) Though the breakfast was well managed, since there is a person dedicated to helping guests, the breakfast itself is very minimal. Not even papre cups for coffee, but strofoam cups. I guess that says it all. Like I said, the location is the only PLUS for this hotel.

Property was very welcoming to pets which I loved. Room was great at first but then the toilet stopped working. They were quick to respond and fix the issue but there was a leak afterwards. Tried to get a room change but they stated there wasn’t enough rooms so had to deal with the toilet leak.

The keys didn’t work at first room I was given. Brought a handful of stuff and a child back down and went back to the front desk. Another 20 minutes waiting my turn for new keys. They also didn’t work. Called and was told maintenance would come to let me in. I went back to the front desk after 15 minutes and no maintenance to request a new room. The room a/c/heater didn’t work. Requested it to be looked at the next morning. They assured me that it would be while I was out for the day. It was not when I arrived back. Went back to the front desk to ask about the heater again. Maintenance showed up quickly but didn’t speak English. Thankfully I speak some Spanish and was told that those units don’t produce heat, just a/c. I’ve stayed in numerous hotels with similar units and that has never been the case, plus there was a button for heat and it worked for about 30 minutes before shutting off completely. No alternative solutions given either (I.e. more blankets) and it was usually cold those 3 nights I stayed.
