Nice place.great pool. Excellent parking, room has everything you need.

Not really happy I book my room in advance for 5 days and when I get there I need to pay extra fee of $45 plus on the next day my wife’s wakes up in the morning to shower and my kids and there’s no soap or shampoos now I had to called the front desk from my cell phone cause the room phones there’s none of a stocker to see what u need to dial to called the front desk or something so basically I called the desk and I ask for soap & shampoo when this young lady Says sure all send someone there right now so waited like crazy in the room and no body comes to bring nothing so my wife had to shower with just hot water only after she finished I went to the front to tell Then there are unresponsible. Plus not even the manager did nothing nkt even to say sorry or apologize let me make it to you by giving me soap or something. Plus then all my 5 days stay only the day before I lived they fix are room even though we told them 2 times to fix are room but never happen until a day before so basically I’m not happy with this hotel they used to be good back in time I don’t know what’s going on with them. !! Plus the tv plasma doesn’t even work had some stain like cold got in to it. Plus no controler I had to get one from the services. And the sink had some very wierd bugs & the hallaways of the hotel outside are very dirty with people throwing body lotions & stuff & baby diapers.

Honestly some of the other reviews I read had me worried about staying here, but I was so pleasantly surprised. Check in was a breeze. The lobby is really nice and updated. They were even able to easily Grant my request for a bottom floor room. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the normal amenities. The location CANNOT be beat if you are going to universal. You can see the park from the lobby. It was a $6 Uber ride to get there. Also, this hotel is so close to restaurants and several other attractions. I will definitely keep them in mind for my next universal stay!

Their were ants in the room a baby spider sheets had dried up chocolate when I pulled it back n the bed felt like u were laying on the box spring n the manager didn't do anything with the problems.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was standard and acceptable. Free wi-fi and parking. The location was perfect being just off International Drive and a block from Universal Blvd. The have a free shuttle to and from the parks. We are seniors and we walked back and forth to Universal every day just for the exercise. The room was clean, the bed was a little firm for our liking as we're the pillows but it wasn't home. The only negative was our room was located next to the electrical room that handled the elevator around the corner and when the elevator ran, it was a bit loud and the vibration was felt in part of the room. I suspect it would not be a problem for any other room that is located further away. There is not an airport shuttle which is a negative. A taxi runs about $50 for a 15 mile trip. We rented a car to give us flexibility, especially if it rained, but we parked it all week and walked everywhere.

Air conditioning didn’t work properly. Property is a motor inn instead of a resort. I’m sorry, but having a pool doesn’t make your property a resort, get real! Breakfast was a joke, with all the constant tourists coming in from all over the world to visit Orlando’s amusement parks, this “resort” property could do better! Over priced, you basically pay for the location next to the shopping outlets.

Toilet doesn’t flush well. Cleaner left our curtain wide open anyone can see our entire room.

This was my second time staying at sunsol, & it was just as pleasant as my last visit. My only complaint has to be the beds. You can feel the springs in the mattress. The maintenance man was very on top of things, and friendly. We had a small air conditioner leak. But Other than that, great staff & location! Will consider staying for my third visit.

So I checked into sunsoil motel and the desk attendant was nice.. it was late night so it looked decent from the outside! As I made my way towards the room on the 4th floor on the other side of the motel it was dark and I couldn't see much. I got into the room and unlock the door and had to give it a hard push because the door was warped and stucked to the frame... turned the lights on in the room and to my disappointment it was a lot smaller than i imagine .. the bathroom was small and the shower was one of those flat surface showers that didn't have a border between the toilet and shower, so when you shower the water would just go all over the place .. the bed was nicely made until you pull the covers back and discovered there's stains on the bed.. I'm one to travel with my own flat sheets and pillow case for reasons like this... the wifi at this place was barely wifi.. you would think it's running on dial up. I called to the front desk and he simply said there's a lot of people using the wifi so that's why it's so slow.. all in all I would never come back to this motel.. Oh and you're charged for the breakfast thing they offered there! Even if you don't eat it!!

Nice, friendly staff held luggage as we were too early to check in. Quick check-in when ready. Nice grounds and noticed night security guard walking grounds nightly. Nice room and pool area. Convenient vending and pool bar. The internet sucked all the time during our 3 night stay. Our next door neighbors were loud and either fighting, talking or laughing loudly all night. Very convenient to travel I-trolly to get everywhere. The stop is just a block away and you can purchase tickets at Congo Golf right next to the stop. Great value for that.

It feels like the floor hasn't been wiped for ages. The room is dirty too. You can only find breads, muffins and cereal in the "continental breakfast ".

Beds suck they aren't very comfortable other then that everything was good

Friendly staff, pleased with continental breakfast

Only stayed there to sleep, was cozy and comfortable. Didn't use amenities or pool.

The room was clean, bed and pillows weren't spectacular but can't complain about them. Rooms are updated. Front desk is usually really nice, this time the guy wasn't very friendly, but only there for one night not really worried about it. Breakfast ends at 9:30 which stinks if your a person who stays up late. So can't comment on the breakfast. For us it's a perfect one night stay.

Pillow cases smelling bad on both beds. But the rest ok, cleaning arou d the pool ok

This isn't a hotel or resort but a Motel. Arrived late for check in and still had to wait 15 min to get a room. Room was dark, strong mold smell, dirty carpet, smelly pillows, shower curtain in the year 2016 shouldn't be allowed in paid for accommodations it's not sanitary. TV didn't turn on had to be unplugged. AC unit is too cold for small room and so loud it was impossible to sleep while its was on. Ants in sink, old furniture and lamps. Breakfast is horrible with undercooked doughnuts pancakes and waffles. They do offer bread and juices variety. Not really sure why I paid an additional resort fee of $9 as this is far from being a resort and claiming free parking & free wifi but turn charging for it is considered to be consumer misleading in my opinion. I needed this room for 1 night while visiting Universal so location is decent however further down on international drive is less crowded. Outlet is close by also. Other than that with so many choices of hotels in Orlando I by mistake chose this one and used my orbits bucks on it plus added $40 out of pocket which honestly wasn't worth it. Simple and clean was what the deceiving pics show but it was dirty and smelly instead. Overpriced too. Book somewhere else.

I had high hopes for this hotel based on the reviews from a reputable website however, after the first night my hopes were quickly diminished. Upon arriving in our room, we discovered that it was infested with ants, so I spoke with the concierge who reassigned us to another room. The following day, we noticed there were ants in that room as well. Once again, I confronted the concierge who said he would mention this immediately to the housekeeping manager who would report back to us. We also noticed that housekeeping had done a poor job of cleaning the room, as there was still hair from a prior guest in the shower, and the floor had dirt spots (looked like sand). The following day, I asked for an update from the concierge regarding the housekeeping since the housekeeping manager had not gotten back to us. I also commented that the ants were beginning to be a big problem as we had to pack our things every night and morning to prevent them from infesting our things. The concierge said he would contact the housekeeping manager again and have her go to our room to inspect, and she would be in touch with us. He offered us a chance to once again move to another room, but by this time it was getting ridiculous since we did not want to keep moving rooms only to find the same situation. This saga continued up until the last day of our stay where we noticed that the room had been sprayed with insect killer. Our room was still dirty though (poor vacuuming and dusting). At this point, I decided to speak with the hotel manager personally to ask for some sort of refund for the inconvenience. Upon speaking with her, she was very rude and belligerent with me citing that they had done the right thing and offered to move us to another room. She missed the point completely. I would have been satisfied if the hotel management would have been more engaged rather than so oblivious and inattentive to our complaints. I do not think we asked for much, just some courtesy and attention to our issues. I am very disappointed with this establishment, and do not plan on staying here in the future. I would avoid this hotel and pursue an alternate option, as there are many on international drive of similar price.

Really clean and close to everything I have booked here twice and now it's my Orlando hotel.
