Our rooms (we got two adjoining rooms) smelled musty the moment we walked in. There were dehumidifiers in both rooms. The pictures on the wall actually had mold growing in them. The carpet was gross and the bedding was ripped in a few places. The bathroom was dirty especially the area behind the toilet. I think that the sprinklers went off at some point and they just tried to “clean” instead of replacing the water damaged items. Would never ever ever stay at this hotel again. The only good thing was the guy that checked us in was polite and great b

You know the saying, you get what you pay for. Well, we should be refunded money then. If we weren't only sleeping for eight hours and leaving we would have asked for our money back and left. Towels were stained and should have been thrown out two years ago. The floor was filthy and needed cleaning. The beds uncomfortable and the nightstand was taller than the bed. The A/C worked so that was a plus and there was hot water.

It was good to be there, the personal staff was very professional and friendly. This time, the room was very cleaned and we fell very comfortable.

I came to the hotel on Friday and received non-functioning keys for my room. After being let in by a staff member, I reported the issue on Saturday morning and received a new set of keys. Again they were not working. Sunday I let them know there was an ongoing issue and let the keys with them. On Sunday evening again they gave non-functioning keys for my room. When I left on Tuesday morning I let them know I had never had functioning keys for my whole stay and then I asked whether I could at least print my boarding pass, especially given all the problems the key issue caused me. The staff response was that they were not allowed to, that last time they printed something they got a virus in their system and they were not allowed to print customer's stuff. Ironically he told me this while he was printing my check-out receipt. Basically they are inflexible but they expect their customers to be flexible about their issues. No comment.

The best part is the location. Right around the corner from Universal Studios. The staff was ok, sometimes difficult to understand and make them understand me as most of them were primarily Spanish speaking. Rooms are mediocre. Beds are terrible. The room telephone was not working. The bathrooms are old and the hot water takes forever to warm up. Had to call maintenance the first night because the shower pull was stuck in the up position and unable to draw a bath. They were able to fix the shower pull so a bath could be taken. Had a hard time getting towels for the room. Apparently the housekeepers only clean the room, but do not provide clean towels. That is done from someone else. They do not keep pool towels stocked. It really needs good renovation. It was full so I think the location helps keep it booked, but they could stand to do some upgrades. I think if the beds were comfortable and the hot water was better, I could overlook all the other little things. I think I may try another hotel next time. I looked at some nearby hotels, and they looked much nicer from the outside.

This is a good budget hotel right in the middle of the action. It is literally a short walk from this hotel to all of the fun of International Drive and Universal Boulevard.

The hotel definitely needs some updates... the linens are an older style, the trim/ baseboards needed some work, carpets are stained. The room had a musty/ cleaning product smell. It was bareable though. They have a free shuttle to Sea World, Disney and Universal. This is one of the first stops at pick up and Disney is the last drop off, so if you are doing this plan to be in the shuttle for at least an hour. The shuttle home was shorter, maybe 30-40 minutes. The location on International Drive was great, we were able to walk to The Orlando Eye, Sea Life and Maddame Museum (about 1.5-2 miles). A lot of restaurant choices and stores nearby one walking distance!

Room was ok great location to restaurant, hotel a little noise but for the price I will stay there again.

Carpets were old and discolored needed cleaning and replaced. Bed linens were old and out dated along with furnishings. There was a smell throughout motel. Non-functioning outlets. It was definitely not a 3 star motel.

Less than stellar experience. Low frills basic and fair to poor service in any aspect.

No printer to print your boarding pass's. Never been to a hotel that could not help with that.

Walked out as soon as we walked into our room! Terribly dirty and smelled of mold

I would never go back to this hotel! The staff was nice but no one looked like they wanted to be their. Our room dresser was broke so we couldn't open one of the draws. The vending machines were empty and didn't work. AND We saw a cockroach near one of the elevators!

Some issues with phone system, and getting clean towels. The hotel room had clean enough beds and carpet. Nothing special but cheaper than the other locations around.

This is a basic hotel that gets the job done. Never have had a bad experience here (3 stays total). It's great for the price. Room is clean. Bathroom is decent and the decor is fun (movie posters everywhere in their hallways). For a weekend getaway, it's perfect for my family. We are Annual Pass holders with Universal and frequent this hotel for its closeness to the park.

This is my second time staying here and it has gone done greatly. The carpet was stained, the phone worked off and on, we asked for face towels and never got them but they would come to the room every morning for the towels, there was a pee pad on the bed and to top it all there was a gas smell every morning. Yes I told them about the gas smell and other issue there reply about the gas smell was that normal. I won't send my enemy to this hotel.

The building is in need of repair, our first room was inaccessible (room keys didn't work & the staff was unable to correct it. The second room (301)had small beds, a terrible view, had a portable (& loud) dehumidifier, and on the coldest night, we found the heater didn't work. Maintenance couldn't fix the problem & we declined another move as the room was cleaner than any other area of the hotel. You get what you pay for, so this was my own fault for trying to save a buck.

The overall atmosphere was dull. Change the bedsheets to a brighter color

There were many roaches in my room. The first night i killed like 14 and i can't sleep, and then i changed to other room and there where 3 more. The three nights i had to sleep with the light on. I never experienced horribles moments like that.

Everything in this hotel is Outdated feels like a prison. A few bugs here and there. Housekeeper does not clean just makes the bed and refills towels pool is a little dirty and no where to sit on. Washer and driers always broken. The only good thing is close to some attractions. Please choose better hotels and not just go for cheaper prices.
