Recent guest reviews

This property is 10-15 years beyond a needed update, but clean and only a mild smell of cleaners and bug spray

Decent hotel, friendly staff. You can definitely hear every movement in the hallway all night of sleeping on the first floor.

We just needed a clean and comfortable hotel- no fancy resort needed since we knew it wasn’t going to be pool weather. I paid for a suite I was put in room 105. We walked in and walked right out The overwhelming smell of bleach made my family immediately neaseaus. It also only has a bed—no couch so it wasn’t a suite. I complained and got moved to 311. Walked in saw bed and couch which means I definitely was lied to in room 105 bc it wasn’t a suite ! This room still not good but it didn’t smell. We pull out the couch and it was gross. I called to ask for bed to be made. I was told ok. I got back to room four hours later (only one key worked too which was annoying ) and the couch not made. I tried to call downstairs and phone didn’t even work !The staff was rude and told me housekeeping doesnt make the couch as bed and told me where to find sheets. Of course there was no sheets in room and when we went to make couch it was absolutely disgusting. I was not going to let my son sleep on it. We came very close to leaving a midnight and just driving home. I have worked for Carlson before.... I have stayed at this chain. I don’t know what is wrong with this one particular hotel but do NOT stay there.

I was not impressed at all. I would not recommend to anyone especially persons that are on vacation Star. Rating should be a max of 2 The only good thing was the breakfast staff. Very friendly. They should find a new job!

Nick the desk clerk was very rude and unprofessional. I will NEVER stay at the Quality Inn and will advise friends and family not to do so either.

I had a. Really good experience with Diego the front desk person he was excellence always had a greeting for the customer and really helpful

We were told at checkin that breakfast on the weekend was available until 1030 and 930 during the week. Saturday morning we arrived at breakfast just after 930 to find things put away and were told they had made a change and breakfast is only served until 930. They then went in the back and printed a sign to place over the posted hours. Terrible management and communication around their "change". At checkout we were informed of an additional $5 service charge per day.... that they wanted to put on our credit card to cover shuttle costs. When we questioned it, the lack of communication, and our lack of using shuttle services they "waived" the fee. Would be very cautious if you choose to stay here. I would not stay with them again.

Me and my boyfriend were on our way home from tampa and were exhausted and just wanted to extend the vacation for one more night. We booked this hotel because i had stayed at this same hotel in georgia and it was really nice. We got to our room and it was nice until we pulled down the comforter. Whoever was supposed to clean our room, clearly just made the bed without changing the sheets. There was sand and hair everywhere. We were exhausted and had to be up super early so we just slept on the floor. Also, we couldnt get the air to blow so it was really hot all night even when the air was set to 70. Place is ok, just make sure they actually cleaned it.

We were able to walk to Universal or take the shuttle. Great service and great breakfast in the morning.

It would have been nice to have a Comfortable chair to watch tv it read.

We stayed 2 nights starting on 1/22/17. The hotel was very clean and offered a great breakfast. Staff was very nice.

I originally stayed in the Days Inn just around the corner, but after two nights there I had to find a better place to stay. The Country Inn was clean and comfortable and a very welcome upgrade. The person at the front desk was very helpful. She gave me a key to a room to see what it was like and it was 100 times better than my accommodations at the Days Inn. After checking a couple other hotels and finding them totally booked I used the Orbitz app and registered for the Country Inn and Suites. The girl at the front desk was even more helpful when I went back to check in and got me a room with an even better location than the one I first looked at. I would pick this hotel again.

Location of hotel is nice, but the facility needs updating. Basic room and free breakfast. What set me off the most was the free shuttle to universal. Shuttle picked up at the hotel on time. The return times were 630 and 745. The first night we waited and waited and waited for the second shuttle at 745. Shuttle never came. We called the hotel and they basically said too bad so sad and were very rude to us. The bus never did a 745 pickup. There were other families with small children waiting for the bus too. Had to take a cab back to the hotel at our expense. The second day, we made sure we were there for the 630 shuttle because we figured the 745 shuttle would not come. The shuttle came at 633 and left at 634, literally. This hotel could be a great place to stay, but next trip, I will stay elsewhere.

When we arrived to a rude check-in attendant. When we went to the floor our room was on, we smelled mildew. Our room had a mildew smell but at first we could not find it so we went to bed. The floor was softer than the bed. Our pillows had 0 support. In the morning, we found the mildew on the walls. We reported it and were brushed off by the staff. Horrible experience!

The hotel clerk wasn't the friendliest, and the hotel was far away from the Airport, and the rooms were not clean.

The location was perfect for us. It was a very clean well kept hotel and liked the breakfast.

I liked staying here. It was last minute yet it felt like I booked it weeks ago. Very accommodating and fast check in and check out! I would definitely stay again!

Well worth the value. Awesome breakfast spread and a great location..
