Best Western Plus Universal Inn

First, I would stay again here, BUT there were 2 things. 1) Parking is tough because it shares a lot with some restaurants, so couldn't find a parking spot Friday night. 2) Breakfast room was extremely hot. Not just warm, actually hot. Something must have been wrong. But the next day was only mildly better.

Quick and easy check-in and out, breakfast is good, hotel is clean and comfortable.

The stay at Best Western was pleasant. The room was clean and the bed was good. Breakfast was available every morning and the hotel was a walking distance to Universal Studio

I really enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was the best continental breakfast I have ever had. Can't wait to come back.

This hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The room was very affordable and extremely close to Universal Studios. They provided a shuttle service to the park as well as free breakfast which was phenomenal! I definitely will be staying here again.

Overall stay was okay. We had a room by housekeeping area. So it was a little noisy hearing them come in and out of that area. Made it hard to get some sleep. The room was clean overall. Staff was friendly.

Friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Its a hop skip and jump away from Universal -- you can walk to it - -plus they have a shuttle to other attractions that we don't use. We stayed here and only paid around $60 per night - towards the end of the vacation we stayed at a a Disney resort and the cost us $1200 for 3 nights versus the $200 plus for BW for 4 nights -- guess where I would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again. Never had any problems while staying at BW.

This hotel has all you need: Location to Universal is perfect....walking distance to boat shuttle or take free hotel shuttle, also right by Walgreens and restaurants. Clean comfy rooms, clean well sized Bathroom, yummy hot breakfast (included) with plenty of options to choose from, free parking, friendly staff, and UNBEATABLE price in this close proximity. We also booked a 5star room at the Portofino (3 nights) and we were greatly disappointed, after 1 night stay....cancelled and moved back into Best Western Plus; where we spent our first night upon late arrival into town. Best last minute booking ever!

This hotel was a real find. It was well worth the price. The staff was really friendly and aimed to please. Given the chance I would definitely sign up for another stay..

Pretty good breakfast. Most of the staff was nice, except when we checked in and were asking about the shuttle the lady was very rude about it. We checked in late Saturday afternoon. We were on the third floor, room 325, it had a funky smell in it but it was pretty quite until construction started up and when people would slam the door. Shower did not get that hot. But it's pretty close to Universal Studios.

great hotel... beautiful place an every rooms are perfect for the love and the most great experience for every family and old people

Not as nice as some other BWs I've stayed at, but a good price for the location.

Great location with free shuttle service to and from Universal Studios and Sea World. We decided to stay longer at Universal and missed the shuttle back to the hotel and it was only a $6 cab ride to the hotel. It is normally $20 to park on site. Hotel was nice and clean, but the bathrooms were on the well used side.

My boyfriend had never flown before so we decided to take a trip to orlando so he could get over his anxiety about airplanes. we chose best western plus for its proximity to universal (we had no interest in going to any of the disney parks or in renting a car for 5 days), the fact that it had a pool, and free breakfast every morning. Overall we were happy with our experience. Universal is about a ten-fifteen minute walk away, just close enough to rationalize not taking a cab. The staff was friendly and responded quickly to our requests. The breakfast is one of the better ones I've had though still pretty standard. The room was clean and comfortable though on the smaller side. The pool is small and there are only 4 lounge chairs with additional chairs around 3 umbrellas but we had it all to ourselves almost every day from morning to early afternoon so we never had an issue getting a chaise. Cab ride from MCO was about $50 and a 15-20 min ride. So if you are looking for an above-average comfortable hotel with a friendly staff I definitely recommend this place!

I enjoyed the hotel and everyone on the staff was so nice and helpful..I would stay there again. gjk

It was ok the entrence of the hotel was under construction didn't like that part every thing else was very good.

We chose this hotel for all the convenience. Location is perfect as it is practically beside us from Universal and all other attraction. Very easy access to all hi ways. Room is very comfortable and clean. Staff is excellent especially the night manager Leslie and very good value for overall. I have always stayed in a Best Western but this one is by far the the best for my family.

Location was great. A good walk to universal (a mile or so). Shuttle times are limited. The breakfast was food to get the day going but nothing special. The hotel was clean but nothing special. Staff was helpful and kind. Good place to sleep and shower. We were gone morning till night so it worked well for us. If you plan on hanging out at the hotel you may want to get another place.
