I stayed for OC Bar event. I was very pleased with our stay. The rooms were newly renovated and very modern and roomy. I would recommend for guest and others staying in the area for business as its very close to freeways, restaurants and the airport.

Really nice and perfect hotel clan and comfortable:))))) nice tv and robe:)))

It was extremely disappointing to see a note in my room saying that the water supply would stop for up to 2 hours between 9 AM and 3 PM. While this actually did not happen during the 9 AM to 12 PM that I was at the hotel I am very disappointed that I was not told about this prior to booking. Another problem I faced was that the toilet flush broke - I had to call the front desk.

Staff was ON it! Very pleased! Room was SO comfy and balcony was a huge bonus!

I've stayed at this hotel over a dozen times. The downstairs bar and restaurant are great. However, I was bummed to find out that Marriott won't provide loyalty point credit for rooms booked through a travel site, even though that's how the majority of folks book travel. It makes it harder on the customer to do otherwise, which is counter to Marriott culture. The rewards number has always been included in the site profile, but apparently that doesn't matter. I think this policy needs to be changed.

We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and the hotel was perfect...with great comfort and amenities. The staff is well-trained and courteous. We were even surprised with a special tray of treats and a nice card! The best part is that we saved $60 per night through Orbitz!

We spent a disappointing night at the Irvine Marriott. First off, the hot tub was cold for my 4 and 7 year old boys so they were disappointed because the regular pool was so cold. Also, they give you no warning that you need to bring your hotel key down when you exit so you can get the "discounted" parking rate for staying at the hotel. If you don't have your key, you pay an elevated rate. Not the best hotel experience!

The staff was friendly and professional. Our room was facing the freeway and there was a very loud air conditioning unit outside the window. They moved us to a quieter room on the other side of the hotel upon request. Unfortunately, the pool and spa were under construction while we were there. We were disappointed about that. Also disappointing was a $10 charge for wifi and a $23 charge for parking. The prices were very expensive for the food and drinks as well.

Very nice place but a bit expensive. Not a lot of places to eat around when you are limited on time.

Overall it was a great hotel However, it was a great disappointment to find out the AC was not working in our room. The AC kept blowing nothing but hot air which was a great disappointment especially because the temperature outside was already about 100 degrees. We called the front desk and it took awhile before sending someone out. We decided to switch room but It was such an inconvenience.

The toilet would not flush! I don't know how they got a 4 star rating!!! I need a working toilet! It does not flush and the water will go all the way up to the rim. We checked in on Oct. 24 at 5:15 am and checked out the following morning. The toilet paper was that paper, like crepe paper! The toilet paper is better in San Francisco City Hall! I can hear the planes landing and taking off in my room. Had a hard time falling asleep with all that noise. Honestly, I would like my money back! There is no way this is a 4 star hotel.

We did not want to drive back to San Diego after our friend's retirement party at Anaheim Hill. Stayed just over a night and we really like this Marriott, have good service and clean. We did not have time to dine the in-house restaurant this time but like the in-house Starbuck. We will stay at this hotel again next time.

The outside spaces were large and comfortable, I have nothing else positive to say. They charge a lot for EVERYTHING even wifi. Staff are ok. Food is ok. Location is awful for families. It's clearly a business/conference venue. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The rooms were small and the hotel bar can get raucous with loud 'professionals'. I booked for 6 nights and only managed to stay for 2! Manager who was dealing with my complaint went off duty without handing over to anyone. Awful experience!

Nice and clean room. Really nice facilities. Close to everything by car but not by waking...

I'm generally not too particular on hotels. I just need a place to stay, mostly a place sleep for rest. This place fails on this most essential function of a hotel. I could have chosen a cheap motel and still be more satisfied than this four-star hotel. Simply put, unless you are the type who would be able to sleep soundly on a jet, you won't be able to rest well in this place. The room is just too noisy, even with the AC off. I can't even figure out where the noise comes from. It's a constant loud humming, like a loud AC, but while the AC is off. It seems to be from outside. I've been tossing myself in bed for hours. It's now 2 in the morning and I'm up writing this review. Other unpleasant things are not even worth mentioning compared with the noise problem. The parking is expensive ($22 per day, and $13 for a short 30min of visitor parking). No free internet. But I would be fine with all this if I could just have sleep. Absolutely not recommending this place to anyone. (I have stayed at the Residence Inn Marriott at John Wayne airport many times. Though that's a three star hotel, it's a comfortable place to stay.)

Very clean room, though the entrance and hall to room is narrow and feels like motel instead of hotel. However, spacious and modern lobby, welcome refreshing drinks at entrance. Extremely friendly and ourteous staffs.

The hotel was awesome. Rooms were very comfortable. Amenities were great. We needed a place close to the Newport beach and so it was very convenient. Prices were reasonable considering it was New Year's eve.

Room is a little bit small. Besides that, everything is good.

I loved this hotel. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. My only suggestion for improvement is it seemed like the bathroom floor could have been cleaner. This was a very pleasant stay for the money!

We stayed only one night but it was enough to experience the Marriot service. Room was clean and comfortable. Amenities are high quality. I highly recommend this hotel.
