Loved this hotel , comfortable colorful friendly and helpful

Great use of technology at the hotel - chromecast, lights, etc.

I really love it Beautiful and the stuff and office desk are nice people Thank you

On the morning of 8/27/18 my family and I were coming in from a tour, I was finishing a half bagel left over from the start of my day, I decided to grab a small coffee at the stand inside the hotel when when an older Asian guy (staff) said to me that I couldn’t eat it there that no outside food was allowed and that I had to go on the other side. I mentioned to him that the opposite side had no seating and that I was buying coffee there and also a resident. He said that I could drink my coffee but I couldn’t eat the rest of my bagel. He served me my coffee I sat down to drink it he walked to the back then out comes his manager, an older lady with dark hair and a heavy accent saying that I had to go away from the cafe if I was going to finish my pastry. No exceptions even as a resident, paying customer. She wanted me as I was clearly taking the last bite to get up from my seat and go swallow my food on the other side. I thought my experience and how the staff handled it was rude and showed a lack of customer service. I felt discriminated, embarrassed, harassed and like my presence was not appreciated. I regret spending my money at a hotel that’s associated with such an unprofessional, inconsiderate staff. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Nice, unique and clean hotel. Rooms are small but was good enough size for my boyfriend and I. The bed was comfy and tv was nice size. Only thing I recommend is more towels in the room.

Walking distance to Time Square and subway, small but very efficient rooms, very comfortable for 2 people. Only thing missing is coffee.

Key cards did not work initially. Was denied room check out by phone which is rather standard. Shortage of hotel staff.

Just ok, room was on the higher price side and Did not expect that carpet on the floor would be so evidently dirty. So ,what als you can think when first making a step to the hotel and see dirty and worn out carpet ....

It was nice and modern with a good location close to everything

Excellent stay! The hotel is very well situated in upper Manhattan, the cabin has everything one can possibly need, the view from the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the internet was really high speed.

Nice hotel close to Subway, but not serving breakfast as my first visit had.

I had an amazing experience staying Yotel for my first time in NYC. Staff are friendly and it is close to Times Square (and other landmarks) and subway stations. Everything was neat and our room was cleaned every day. The only thing I wish they had was a mini fridge but given the room size, it was okay. Keep in mind I was mostly out majority of the day but overall, for the price and location, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Very nice and ultra modern but it's the first time stayed at any hotel and they had neither a refrigerator or microwave?other than that perfect location .

Super cool vibe! Can tell the rooms are a little run down, but really comfortable and clean none the less. Would definitely be staying again!

This is a great, affordable hotel near Times Square. I have now been there twice, and enjoyed the addition of enjoying the rooftop lounge during a summer visit. I found that there were some nagging issues in the room. The foldup bed didn't fold up. (okay because I was solo this time so extra freed up space not as critical) the television clicker was not working easily and you had to hold forever to turn it on and off. The ironing board was difficult to open and close (it collapsed on my toe...ouch) The body soap dispenser and hand soap dispenser were almost empty so did not work easily. (Last time my room darkening shade was non existent, and near Times Square this made it impossible to get quality sleep. These are all tiny problems, but indicative of the staff not paying attention to little details. I will return, but hope that this generally very good bargain spot will make sure staff training keeps the place in top notch condition. It is a great option for NYC and hope it remains so.

I needed a room for a last minute visit to Broadway. I was very satisfied by the whole experience

The room was very nice well the setup but a lot of things were dirty doesn’t even look like they came to check and see if they cleaned it. Dirty marks the outdoor section was disgusting

Nothing special about the immediate surroundings but a half mile from Times Square. Self check-in on first floor. Real check-in (staffed by polite people) on fourth. No lobby signage to indicate this however. Restaurants and bar there are pleasantly modern. We did not eat there. The room. One queen bed, clean linens and comfortable. Two bunk beds, the upper too close to the ceiling to be comfortable for any child over four or so. Three small dresser drawers, no chair. Only supplied two sets of towels but sent more upon request. No pitcher for water and no cups. Got own on Fourth floor. No refrigerator. Drain in shallow bathroom sink stuck in down position. Pulled it up manuhally (needs further repair). Bracket for hand held shower head broken. The bathroom floor is painted concrete. No apparent bath mat, no wash rags on the second day. Dead insects in shower. Soap, shampoo and conditioner available only in shower, bolted to the wall. Nuf said.
