I stayed here in December of 2025. They have tried to steal money from me twice now by charging two separate credit card for $500 dollars. The last fraudulent transaction they did was 2 weeks ago. This is 3 months after I stayed there that they are trying to steal and hoping costumers don’t notice. I’ve called numerous times, sent emails and left voicemails and I do not get any replies. Be careful staying here and make sure to check your transactions after you stay here.

The hot water ran out in the evening. When I checked in, I was assured I could stay in my room with two different reservations. When I went to check out, I was told I had to switch rooms and re-check back in. Absolutely nothing was offered for the major inconvenience.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now, while traveling for work. It’s mostly been a really pleasant option. The room and shower were clean— no mold, stains or thick dust. The hotel is still new and well-taken care of. The restaurant food could use improvement, especially with the required resort fee and prices. The staff were helpful and kind. The views over Harlem are cool, but they should totally remove “Central park view” from the room options. It’s totally misleading. I’ll be staying again.

This was my second time staying at Renaissance. I loved the cleanliness of the hotel, how quiet my floor was especially considering I was by the elevator. My bathroom ceiling started leaking and I called the front desk to report it. I got a little push back from the receptionist but someone came immediately and rectified the situation. I appreciated the letter which offered additional assistance. I’d definitely stay here again as it is in a convenient location for me and has a cute lounge area w good food, music and drinks!
