The room is not sound proof. You can easily hear the noise outside. You can hear people from the outside having conversations. If you are a light sleeper, I do not recommend staying here. Elevator does not appear to be in the best condition. Room was clean. Staffs are very friendly.
Nice location , however I don’t like this hotel … very small rooms, not clean enough , my room have terrible view I mean no view at all . The lady at front desk lied about room availability , when I came 20 min later I spoke with different person and the room I asked was available even have different options…

Like the idea of looking out the window on 7th floor, seeing the other tall buildings. After all it is New York.

Loved the location and the view from our room on the first floor onto the street was AMAZING! The fish tank was beautiful in the lobby. I wish we’d had a second soap or body wash for the shower, coffee available somewhere besides the restaurant. I would absolutely come back - we liked the location and ease of getting in and out.
Great location, quiet, extremely pleasant staff, great rooms, chic. The elevator was a pain, I met two other guests that had just as many problems with it as I see I did. Continental breakfast at the restaurant would have been better if the staff weren’t so rude, oh, and if they hadn’t run out of breakfast before the serving time was over. If I gauge just the hotel.. 4 and a half stars, if I include the restaurant and Rickey’s (the bar) it scrapes in 3 stars, just.

Very clean. Every staff person was polite, helpful and friendly. Location was excellent for our purposes. Room was big enough to move around in, bathroom was new.
