Enjoyed my stay except for my bathroom, which was a bit dated. Staff was very professional, responsive, helpful, and nice. I will stay again.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. The hotel is well-located in central Manhattan; a short cab or subway ride to most of the places you'd like to visit in NYC. The staff was friendly and competent. Our room, an upgraded one with a view onto Lexington Avenue, was in need of renovation, as was most of the hotel. The first night of our stay, Con Edison was making some sort of repairs, which necessitated shutting off the water from 12:00am until 5:00am, an irritation when we got in at 12:36am and couldn't properly prepare for bed. Also, nearly everything, wi-fi, breakfast, etc., was an add-on. Fortunately, there are many coffee shops and cafes close-by and our phones got strong AT&T LTE reception. Yes, I'd recommend the hotel based on its location and staff, but with a caveat on its physical condition.

There was some water damage in the bathroom and no ventilation, so it got pretty steamy. There also was work down on the water system that gave us no water from midnight to 5 a.m., and the water was brown when we turned it back on. The staff did give us a warning with a letter, and the location of the hotel for the price was the right fit for our New York experience.

Great hotel and great location near time square Empire State Building etc I highly recommended.

Hotel was clean and located near subway stations. The room is small, but that was to be expected for NY. Neighborhood noise (traffic, etc) was relatively quiet compared to other neighborhoods. My only complaint was that the walls are very thin and every time the room next to us came in and out of their room, the door would slam and echo down the hallway

Wry nice location and price. Midtown value for those visiting the east side. Restaurant a little light on choices.

My sisters and I spent the night here and found it worked well for us. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean, amenities were good. The staff were helpful and the warm chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch.

My wife and I had tickets for a bway play and we wanted to stay in the city overnight. We went on line and found a great deal at the Doubletree. It was a crazy weekend of snow and 5* weather, but the hotel staff and accommodations made us feel right at home. We will definitely be staying again on our next overnight in manhattan.conveinence

Great location, walking distance to Central Park and great restaurants and shopping in Columbus Circle, the MET museum, Lincoln Center. Next to weekend Lexington Ave food fair, 4 blocks from Saint Patrick Cathedral and 5th Avenue. Great staff in breakfast restaurant but only mediocre breakfast buffet. Small rooms.

Staying at this hotel is great for location and an anonymous hotel experience. Front desk staff was cool and indifferent but efficient. Large groups checking in and out constantly in the lobby made it feel like staying at grand central station.

Clean friendly and superbly located hotel for a stay in Manhattan. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Staff were great and absolutely no issues. Really couldn't ask for anymore with a hotel in such a busy city. Made our New York experience all the more enjoyable. Thank you.

Best price best location in area. Found nice hotel days before. Amazed

I enjoyed my stay here. It was situated nearby a convenience store so I was able to grab what I needed for my stay. I also really liked that it was across the street from a NY subway station and only a few blocks from Times Square. It was a perfect place for me to regroup in the middle of a bustling city.

Extremely rude staff and manager , I had to call copororate because they looked me out of my room due to a misunderstood

We were greeted by a lady who never smiled and seemed angry; actually boarder line rude. The cleaning staff beyond rude as well. Hotel room pretty dirty. Excellent location.

Needed a one night stay for a convention. This hotel had one of the more reasonable prices. Easy access to subway, walking distance from theater district. Comfortable room, clean. Staff was very friendly, upgraded us to a room with two beds for free, with complementary wifi. Very pleased.

Good hotel for a short stay. Recepction area big enough but people had a bored attitude. They did not clean my room one day and after calling for help, cleaning people were very rude. The lobby area and bar alwayd feels crowded. Needs a makeover

Nice hotel good location clean rooms and very welcoming

Horrible, check in staff was rude and I was woken up by the smell of marijuana smoke in the hallway. Had housekeeping knock on my door at 9 am to tell me about my checkout time.

Didnt like this hotel. Not reccomende. Staff is rude. Location is okay.
