Check in time was at 4 PM and we arrived right on time. We were told at that time that they double booked our room and had to ask the other guests to move rooms, so our room needed to be cleaned. They said it would take about an hour. I checked back in an hour, and it still was not finished. No communication with us in the interim. I checked back at 5:30 and was told the room was ready.
When we arrived into the room, the room was not clean. The toilet had feces under the toilet seat, and the floor was filthy. They were dirty dishes in the dishwasher , and dirty silverware in the drawer. We went and bought our own cleaning supplies and re-cleaned everything, including the kitchen and the bathroom.
The rest of the stay was decent. What the hotel does have going for it is location. The breakfast area needs improvement on the weekends. Not sure if it was due to understaffing, but garbage was overflowing and food was not replenished timely.
Unsure if I would recommend this property.
