Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel

It was an ok hotel, but you have to pay for parking, restaurant was closed at 8 on a Saturday, deluxe room was no different than a regular room, except the view. I have stayed at cheaper places with better rooms and free breakfast, etc. I was disappointed with this hotel . If i go back i would pick a different place.

We arrived ahead of the remnants of Hurricane Irma. We booked through Orbitz. We booked a room on the concierge floor so we could have access to the business lounge during the day for work. Along with a quiet place for cocktails and food. We paid 50 more per night for this access. We arrived at night after a nine hour drive from Florida. The hotel was serving as an evacuation center for a nursing home from Savannah Georgia. 166 residents and 180 staff and families. We were told the business lounge was closed and would be until well after our departure. We were NOT offered a refund on the extra we had paid for that access. We were offered breakfast coupons. Not acceptable. Don't sell the room at that rate if you are lying about the services offered. We ended up working in our room everyday. While walking around the hotel we noticed not one, not two, but no less than two dozen roof leaks from the rain. We were told that the roof was 'being worked on', but we saw no evidence of it outside (scaffolding, cranes, trucks. Etc) We self parked our car on the garage at $8 an hour. No valet. Lots of individuals were hanging out in the garage bays. Our car was broken into and some minor items taken. We discovered this on the day we checked out and drove away. The waitstaff in both the breakfast area and bar were fantastic especially Emil and bartenders!! Overall, the waitstaff work hard but the Sheraton continues to disappoint with poor customer service.

Loved the area and the people working there! Wish the pool was different but it's close enough to the beach where it doesn't matter!

This hotel is not on the beach as Orbits advertises it to be. It is in a nice location and the property is well maintained.we may have hit the cleaning staff on their worst day because we never got our room cleaned. This is truly not typical of this hotel so I'm willing to give them a pass on this stay.

Great location and value! Clean hotel and th wonderful amenities.

Nice location, staff was great, room was comfortable and clean.

Excellent Hotel at very convenient place. Nice staff..

This was a great place to stay, the staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, walking distance to the beach, and many places to go around the hotel.

Check in slow since computer system down, room has paper thin wall and we could hear everything loud outside door and even next door. Staff is very friend though.

Disappointing, especially breakfast quality and service, as well as overall lack of cleanliness.

It shows you closer to the beach, I was told I could have a 4 pm check out never told it would cost me $45 more. Pool was disappointing. My floors were wet and fans were in the room to dry them, but at 1am checkin I wanted to sleep after driving from Michigan to take my daughter to CCU.

THE TRIP WAS GREAT! WE WERE PLEASED TO STAY AT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN ROOM! THERE WERE SO MANY THINGS TO DO AND A GREAT STAFF TO HELP WITH ANY QUESTIONS!!!!

MY TRIP WAS AWESOME. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THAT HOTEL TO FRIENDS. IT WAS 2 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE BEACH AND WE HAD A WONDERFUL VIEW OF THE OCEAN.

The hotel is very clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast included when you book a club level room is what you would normally find on a continental breakfast we were hoping for more, but it was still acceptable. The evening appetizers were okay, but nothing fantastic. It was nice that there was essentially unlimited bottled water provided. All of the above is only included if you get a club level room, which didn't seem to be too much better than the regular rooms. The pool definitely left something to be desired. The picture makes it seem bigger than it really is. If I had to guess the dimensions, it is probably about 20'x20'x3'8. We were definitely hoping for a bigger pool. Overall, the hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful, but if you're looking more for the resort type of atmosphere one expects at a Myrtle Beach hotel, look elsewhere.

Nice Stay for our Beach Trip during a Tropical Storm.

Booked the room while on a road trip - did not have rooms booked in advance!! Great value and location- walking distance to beach. Wonderful and friendly staff.

Nice stay for a quick night for a long road trip Room was nice and clean

My girlfriend and I went there for 2014 bike-week and we stay here. We were so thankful that we made the right choice. The room was awesome and so as the location. Don't waste your time booking other hotels this the one you're looking for.

$8 Parking Fee, $5 Resort Fee, which was surprise !

Had reserved a King room thru 3rd party and prepaid over a month in advance. upon check in they did hot have a king room for me and would do nothing to remedy. they said they would have someone help with luggage but no body ever showed up so we were on our own. upon getting into room bathroom was flooded with a broken line in toilet. the sent someone up to fix it. found ice bucket full of water. every time ran sink in bathroom it was slow to drain and smelt of sewage. they were not interested in helping with that. upon checkout was told next time not to go thru 3rd party for reservation that they do not honor them and can give you any room the want regardless of what you reserved and paid for. up to not even holding a room for you. and there is no refund you have to deal with 3rd pary for that. will never stay here again and would not recommend it at all. terrible service from check in to check out and they really do not care about helping at all,
