The hotel was in a good location near the beach only thing I will recommend is a few of the luggage trays extremely dirty need to be replaced

Hotel lobby, halls, and elevator looked very aged. The room fortunately was decent, but not as nice as the pictures made them out to be.

We arrive 08/12/17 to two very dry people behind the counter that did not acknowledge anyone unless they were helping them and not listening to us at all. We got into our room having to go through almost institutional hallways and a slow elevator accept for the doors and those elevator foors were u forgiving to slow patrons. Our room was neat but no coffee for the coffee maker and no cups of any kind. The room safe was not bolted to the floor which rendered it useless for my needs and did not have a locking mechanism, which I had to go down to the desk to get. We had two towel sets in our room and we got the room for four of us and those were the only towels we had to use until we went to the desk to get them for 4 days. The beds were like sleeping on a lumpy bag of laundry. A room made for minimum two people and it only had two drawers total and our 4 came for 5 days. As we were leaving the floor in the lobby was wet and my 11yr old son tripped and landed hard. He had pain for a couple hours and will be fine but not one of the two women came out from behind the counter to check on him. The 3 days we went to the pool I used the bar and the prices for my sons Shirley temple were different each day. It was not on the menu but the prices ranged between $1.50 and $3.50. These are not traits of a business called a resort. My family and I will be staying somewhere else next year.

The staff is very unfriendly, we had to get our own towels, toilet paper, trash bags. The staff doesn't even smile, I've never been in such an unfriendly environment in my life.

This hotel is perfect location. Room was clean and we had no problems at all. Hotel is a little older than others, but again we had no issues at all. We will stay again.

Close to beach- no bugs in room- no kitchenette either- did I pay for one? Hotel built a long time ago - thick paint everywhere including splattered on the chairs in our two rooms. Building fairly well maintained considering the numbers of people who come in and out of there. Our room had a smell of funk which improved as we stayed - mild urine or mold I'm not sure. The bare bones coffee shop/store could use some more thought. Heck Folgers coffee and cheese sticks would have improved our lives a bit. But the beach was beautiful - made all worth while.

Their are no lights in the kitchen area. Holes in the wall that connect cabinets. The stove was extremely small and barely fit a baking sheet in. The dining table did not fit in the room. The front desk staff was accommodating and apologized for the hotel conditions. Over all I will not recommend the hotel.

Had an oceanfront view with a balcony. We slept with the sliding door open to hear the waves. Room was clean enough. Comfortable beds. We cooked all our meals in the room. Jacuzzi and indoor pool were great. Staff was very helpful. Only complaints were the TV was a little fuzzy and the microwave didn't work but we really didn't need it. Everything is close by. For the price we would definitely stay here again.

Terrible smell in hallways! The beds looked dirty, the kitchen was out dated (awful kitchen), the only thing that made it acceptable was the ocean view.

The hotel is on the beach, with awesome views of the ocean. The pool and lazy river were fun and clean. We especially were drawn to the tiki bar, which wasn't open. The room was outdated and it showed. We enjoyed Myrtle Beach, but if we go back it will not be at this location.

minimal maid service; leaky roof, rowdy clientel;employees lie about improoving conditions

Wifi sick and 2 bed looked like the sheets were slept in not.changed other then that everything else was great.!

Excellent, really nice overall. Would definitely stay their again.

Hotel was DIRTY. So disgusting I didn't want my kids to touch anything! What made us leave after day one? The INTENSE smell. This smell had a similar scent as a ripe dumpster. After we told them at the front desk we were leaving early because our stay was awful.... Did they ask why... No. Her first response, "your not getting your money back." Guess the fact that this place is so gross, makes them give you a paper to sign when you first check in that states you agree to no refunds. You really don't appreciate the gravity of some of these reviews, until you see it for yourself. TRUST me the ocean convenience is NOT worth it. Don't ruin your vacation like we did.

The view was awesome, we had peace and quiet in our rooms and the shower felt great. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Parking is terrible. Have to park 1-2 miles away. The hotel smell is of gym room and a rank diaper. We walked in the room which has had no updates since the 80's. Pulled cover back and a roach emerges from under the cover of the bed. We ran out of that hotel and stayed some where else. No one tried to rectify the situation and no refund policy. The worse hotel I ever stayed in, not worth it. Cannot believe this establishment is still standing. You are better off sleeping on a corner of a street!!

I reserved a room at this Hotel after reviewing several, due to the Special Winter Pricing for four nights. My wife and I usually stop in Myrtle Beach for a few days in our way to Florida. We moved into the room and found our ocean side view was very minimal. The TV remote did not work for the old outdated TV. The bathroom lights were flickering and the lighting was terrible. We inquired and were transferred to a room across the hall with a little better view of the ocean. We had a faint WIFI signal for a few hours and then lost it for the remaining stay. The desk representative said they were working on it, but did not know what was wrong. The lobby in our tower was dirty. On a positive note the elevator was fast.

Overall, it was a great value, the view, location and amenities were all they claimed to be. The staff was great and we felt they welcomed us. We would go back in a heartbeat.

1 night stay with free 1 dvd and indoor/outdoor pools. Needs renovation but considering location and some promotion, it was good.
