it is great

The hotel overall is in a ok location on the beach, you still have to drive to all restaurants, attractions, shopping. The hotel rooms are only feet from the parking garage and you WILL hear cars, car alarms, people partying/fighting, kids screaming at all hours in the parking area all night. Pool’s were dirty, things floating bandaids trash and people in them past 11pm. Pool area was so crowded everyday no chairs to sit in, no room in hot tubs and multiple people playing obnoxious music extremely loud. Our first night here someone tried to break into our room we asked to have our room changed and they were accommodating to that thankfully however at our next room a fight broke out in the hall outside our door and someone was taken away by the police. Not a place for families and not a place I would return.

clean rooms great views staff was friendly restaurant was good

Nice property! The view of the ocean was everything!

Beachfront property. Staff were nice and attentive.

Very clean hotel. Looks like our room was recently updated.

The staff was great the room well lets say a lil bit more detailed cleaning the master bathroom floor was dirty candle wax on the dresser the third bedroom had a long piece of hair in the bed the rooms smelled like smoke apound entering and no ice in the room after i turned on the ice maker and only one tv worked but after a day they fixed that over all the view was nice .

The view was great easy check in for off season. Starbucks in the location was a plus too.

Cons,The resort was outdated , dirty, no privacy in rooms even when you have a do not disturb sign on the door , staff was not helpful called maintenance 2 times never came up pools were nasty, pros food in cafe was good.

Loved the pool side entertainment. Pool was a little dirty.

If you want to stay in nice, cleaner and newer hotels to fully enjoy and really feel your vacation I would not recommend Long Bay cause you will see that the hotel is already old especially the beds and the couch and the building itself including the pool and other amenities. But if you really just want to be at the Myrtle Beach and not pay an expensive stay at a hotel, you just want to experience how it is to be there and see the place. This hotel would be good for you. No problems with parking and location is close to restaurants. The beach is only a few steps away. So i would give 3 stars out of 5 for this.
