Property was kept very clean, had several pools and hot tubs, gorgeous views!! Location was good, within easy driving distance to attractions, restaurants, stores. Staff friendly and helpful.

Our room smelled like sewer the whole time we were. Had to sleep with patio door open. Staff did nothing to help. Never stay there again. Only had the one bar open during the day. Out side bar so if you needed a brake from the heat back to our room for AC

Rooms and building out dated. Remotes didn’t work. Key cards didn’t work. Hallways dirty. The staff tried to over charge me at check in. Then they “accidentally” charged me nearly $1800 extra after check out. Had to spend the trip home contacting the resort and my bank to fix the error. Guess what I got for my time and inconvenience? Nothing. Poor service. Poor experience. We will never come back.

The staff seemed very rushed under train and confused it took 3 times to get my room key program and then they ended up giving my room to someone else and the people walk in on us as I was undressed I will say this the manager did apologize and try to make things right

After finding mold it took staff sending us to 3 rooms before we found something. I would not recommend.

Room smelled musty. We purchased an air freshener. The housekeeper wasn't pleasant. We asked her to come back in 45 minutes and she was unhappy and advised that she had to clean other rooms upstairs. Ms. Joanne at the lobby bar was excellent. The bar hours should be longer. When we arrived a fella on the elevator advised he was switching rooms due to roaches. We only saw a couple of large water bugs but no roaches. I didn't like the bed being soo close the the door. Too many pizza solicitors, soo many fliers everyday for pizza. Parking garage was very tight. I loved the view from the 11th floor.

This is our second year vacationing at the Grande Shores. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. The support staff from the grounds crew to the housekeeping and front desk, are constantly working to provide a clean, fun, and safe visit. We had the most positive experiences both times we have stayed here. That's the reason we came back a again this year.

We stayed in 3 bedroom ocean front room with full kitchen with all utensils. It is hardly 100 feet to the beach. The hotel staff was friendly and the room service was very prompt and excellent. The room, common areas area also very clean. Also close to restaurants and other places. Overall it is an excellent place to stay.

I gave the hotel and rating of 3 because the hotel needs remodeling although everything else I gave a 4 rating. The staff and service was very good and attentive. I would stay at this hotel again.

my family stayed in a 3 bedroom unit in early may and we really enjoyed it. our unit had a terrific view. In general you want to be on a high floor, and as close the beach, facing north as you can be. Our unit, 1234 must have been one of the best units for a view, with both a good ocean view, and a view up the coast. units with lower numbers for the last two digits don't have as sweeping a view up the coast. units with higher numbers as the last two digits, have a full on ocean view, but miss the view up the coast. we enjoyed the beach (not too crowded in early may), the pools, and the hot tubs. we did find the pool decks to be filthy with dirt and littered with cigarette butts. people must drop their cigarette butts from their balconies onto the two pool decks.. management should make this a full non-smoking hotel. you can usually smell someone smoking. we enjoyed the little garden between the ground floor pool and the ocean. my 4 year old daughter had a blast here, using all the amenities. plus, if you book right, the price is quite reasonable given the views, beach access, and amenities. as for the room, it was upgraded nicely enough, though the wallpaper was coming off in certain areas. im told that not all the rooms are upgraded as ours was. in general, the staff was helpful and upbeat. we would definitely come back, especially in the pre or post season, while the weather is still nice, but the crowds aren't too bad.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanfront condo. The only dealing I had with the staff was at check-in and you could tell, she was just doing her job. She certainly didn't enjoy it. The location was great. Right on the beach and only about a 5-7 minute drive to the boardwalk. The room was okay, clean, but not very inviting. I would say it was industrial. Okay for one night. The only bad thing was the pool, hot tub and lazy rivers were over run with young kids. We stayed about an hour. It was pretty miserable. Overall, it's okay, but not great for a couples getaway. However, the value was good, I guess you just have to be prepared for kids.

Nice quiet location, if you want night life you will have to drive, Room need updating but you get what you pay for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, overall we got our money worth.

The room was very cleaned; a lot of space. We like the lazy pool. Parking near the room was a plus. The only negative aspect was when the condo key did not work after the first day. But over all, a nice place to stay.

Great 3 day stay, Room has a stocked kitchen, (pots and pans, stove, refridgerator, and microwave, On the beach with indoor parking, Very helpful staff with activities as well as tickets for various local events, We were very Happy with our choice to stay here and we'll do it again next trip !!

absolutely pefectly set right on the beach. could hear the ocean with patio door open. relaxing!!

Accomodations were OK but construction in progress on renovations. Noisy from construction and rowdy guests. Not the best experience. Overall good amenities, 5 pools (2 lazy rivers 1 indoor pool), 4 jacuzzies and good beach, but did not like the room layout.

Was extremely disappointed with the room conditions, it's defenantly in need of upgrading, quite old looking. The view is nice and the beach, pool areas are nice. The employees are not very friendly, we were practically chased out of our room by the staff because of being a few minutes late on checkout! Very unprofessional & not impressed!

First the grand shores was listed as a 4 star Resort. I have to say that it barely made a 2 star for us. After arriving, we decided to lay down for a while and a lady came walking in on us. The office had given her room to us so she had a key to our room. Later that night, we went out and when we came back our room keys didn't work! We had to return to the office to get our keys rekeyed. The beds felt very old. You rolled to the middle or slept on the slope! The place was clean but could seriously use some updating. Would I stay there again? If there wasn't anything better to choose from

As we stated in the apology email that was sent after the inspection was completed, this was determined to not be mold. We are delighted that we were able to get you into a unit that was more than satisfactory for you and that you accepted the credit for the inconveniences you encountered. This is our second year vacationing at the Grande Shores. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are clean and well kept. very nice oceanfront resort with great amenities
