Staff were friendly. Room was efficient for the amount of time we stayed. Love that it's located on the beach with quick easy access to the beach.

My grandkids enjoyed the pool, and jacuzzi a lot. We would of loved to have had housekeeping though.

The hotel was dirty. The maids never came around due to covid but I would think that they would because of the fear of covid

We were not happy about this place. The only thing going for it is that it’s oceanfront. The place stank, furniture was outdated, and the building looked like it was falling apart.

Very friendly staff. Night manager especially. Things that were disappointing were not advertising bring food and coffee. Sliding glass door had no handle on outside couldn't lock it either

Old and smelly. Need to update appliances, remove the old smelly carpet and update the bedding. Had to buy my own bedding as I was not sleeping on what they had on those beds.

I loved the fact it was right on the beach and close enough to food places

was close to the boardwalk was out dated and was charged $80.00 because I did not book the room threw them.

We really enjoyed sitting on our 4th floor oceanfront balcony. The view was great and the privacy was enjoyable for an afternoon cocktail hour.

This place in no way represented what is advertised. The place is ran down, dirty as heck and smelled. There were dead bugs on the carpet and dirty wash clothes in the shower. Horrible, horrible place DONT STAY THERE!

It looks like the property has not been updated since the 1970's. Upon check in we were hit with an additional $40 fee for local "marketing".

The "resort" was horrendous, just plain awful. The elevator smelled of urine. The patio door wouldn't close, the room looked as if it was built in the 1800s. I was scared to sleep in the bed and thought I heard a rustling in the kitchen area...a rat perhaps? :(

Check in across the street. Very sketchy area, lot of drug activity. Elevator didn't work, walked up 10 flights of stairs. The hallway had q-tips on the floor. The room smelled, broken lights, no safe, no hair dryer, the balcony door wouldn't shut, stains on the bedding. My friend was 2 doors down the housekeeping ate the donuts they bought. They also found hair in the bed and dead bugs. The list can go on and on. The worse hotel I ever stood in.

Awful, dirty, the maid ate our food, would never go back again !

Checked in and found we had an ocean view and not ocean front. We were moved the next day to ocean front on the 8th floor. We went out Sunday morning and came back around 1:00. There were fire trucks and police in front of our building. The elevators were smoking and not working. We had to climb up and down 8 flights of stairs. At 5:00 pm, after waiting 4 hours for an update, the hotel said they can move guests to another building and or room. We looked at another room in an older building and the room was unacceptable. My husband had surgery and had to go up and down these stairs too. Needless to say, we went numerous times to get help with moving us. We finally asked for a refund and left a day early. The outcome on the elevators was they both needed to be replaced. Not sure if they ever started working again. This was our 40th anniversary and we will not be back to this hotel unless major upgrades are done. Upgrades are desperately needed in two of the building. Not sure why we were not moved to the newer building as one of the clerks had stated and a lower floor for us.

Pictures shown on Orbitz for this hotel are far from accurate. Check in was across the road separate from the actual hotel. Did not get the connecting rooms as requested, rooms were in a dilapidated building beside the one pictured on line, had to search for the entrance as the front was locked and looked as it was used for storage but finally found it on side of building after circling a couple times, 4 out of 5 keys did not work, and rooms were filthy. Never seen a filthier hotel room in my life. Afraid to use bathroom due to residual pubic hair. Ended up going to a different place.

The pictures they have on the Orbitz.com website for Boardwalk Beach Resort is for their new building (they have 4 buildings). The North Tower is where we stayed, which looks nothing like the pictures provided. The building is run down and needs major upgrades. The elevator would open before it had come to a complete stop. The room was dirty and we had to ask the cleaning lady to re-vacuum the floors. Very disappointed in our stay.
