This was a last minute booking but was well worth it. Easy to find, lady at the front desk was very nice. And thankfully it was very close to the airport. Would definitely recommend & would book there again.

Reserved 3 queen bed room. Nowhere in description did it say that there were two locations for rooms and one section of the hotel was across the street. Arrived very late so was unable to anything at that time. Clerk stated we were only being charged for the first night so that we could try to fix the situation the next morning. Next day tried to change rooms and were going to be charge an extra $100 to move. When canceling reservation, was told I signed and agreed to pay for the entire stay the night before (even though there was no total, only an average nightly rate on form). Told it would be 7-10 days for a refund. Would not return just because they are not honest. Room was clean and nice, no bugs.

Great family trip at a nice relaxing hotel with wonderful breakfastclise to beach and activities. Will stay again soon!

The staff were the bright spot of this hotel - friendly and helpful. We paid for a room without a view, but at a higher rate assuming we would be at least able to access the beach, even if facing the road. The room we received was under the stairs in a building across a busy street from the beach. Beware that they have different buildings and MOST are not on the beach side of the road. Check in process was slow, despite staff's best efforts. I heard many remark about being told to come back at three. As I can see it the biggest issue is lack of management and organization. We never received full maid service, had to ask for clean towels (which were still damp when we got them late in the evening). Seems like they have plenty of people working for the size of the hotel, but no one offering any guidance or direction about how to quickly clean newly vacant rooms or watch for guests to leave for the beach to do a quick change of towels and make beds. The beach itself in the area of the hotel is dirty and the water doesn't look clean. Its also a loud area and not as well suited for families as North Myrtle. Again, the staff was as helpful as they could be, the room wasn't bad...not particularly good either, but not worth the price - especially given the dismal location on the property. I didn't know "no view" meant literally looking at a stairwell outside of the front window. The room description should be a bit more clear. Breakfast was fine, less of a crowd early.

First let me start by saying the room was great,but the customer service was very crappy I mean the front desk lady really was a snob and I have no idea why. I also feel that the continental breakfast end it very early really really early I think 930am. I mean when Im home I eat breakfast really early but on vacation I plan to sleep in and then go grab something to eat but when I went down at 10:30 to get breakfast I was informed that breakfast ended at 9:30 which was really really weird I'm on vacation for god sakes I just wanted to sleep in and enjoy a nice breakfast I didn't have to make. I guess they truly believe in the statement the "Early bird gets the worm".

We stayed with the kids in this Best Western and it has been a great experience. The staff is really friendly. While it's on the road on the beach, we did not hear any noise and it's been very quiet. The indoor pool is a bit small and was crowded but well heated. The gym has brand new equipment and is larger than at other Best Western and while you exercise you have a view on the beach and the ocean. Same as usual, free wifi, parking and breakfast make this a great value!

First trip to MB, only stayed 2 nights, which was long enough for this hotel. For the price, we expected much better, but I guess we learned our lesson. If we return to the area we will stay somewhere else and pay more if necessary.

Stayed one night off season while passing through. Main complex is in second row from the beach. Had a fully equipped kitchen. Lazy river and large pool available. More of a vacation stay place.

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary in February. We were very impressed with the location and the room. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful to us. We will definitely be staying at this hotel if we ever travel to Myrtle Beach again.

I enjoy staying at Best Western Plus Grand Strand Inn, but was disappointed when clerk placed me in a room near the pool. I was there for business, and asked to have a quiet room, but he assured me that the season was over and that it would be quite. Imagine my dismay when at 11:00pm (and later) people were still in the pool and making a great deal of noise. I'm not sure why he did not honor my request for a room on the back side of the hotel, because rooms were available there. Otherwise, every other time I have stayed at this hotel it has been a pleasant experience.

Wonderfully friendly and competent staff... large, clean, and comfortable room... conveniently located across the street from the beach with wonderful amenities and complimentary hot breakfast... what isn't there to LOVE!

It was a good location right next to the beach with great pool choices

We enjoyed our stay here for two nights as part of our honeymoon trip. The room was a suite and had nice space. The pool was nice as well. The breakfast was a quick, simple fix to tackle morning hunger. The free wi-fi was very slow and almost inaccessible at times. Good location.

It was exactly what I expected, room wasn't huge but what I expected. Blake was the best and was helpful in making suggestions on what to do. The only thing is I never figured out the room service. They fully cleaned the room the first day, left a card asking what we wanted, never came back the next day to SEE what we wanted, then was scattered after that. Great location, not in the thick of it, yet close enough to get to the action quickly. Continental breakfast was awesome, as was the food staff.

The room was a little small for the king size bed, but it was very clean. Maid service was great. They gave us plenty of towels. The Continental breakfast was great but could have had more room for seating.

Not an overall bad experience. We stayed in on of the beach front rooms on the 1st floor. Room was large and clean. Bathroom was clean, shower had good pressure and was hot. Didn't try the pool. Only downside to the room was that there is no HD on the TV's. Granted you don't go to the beach to watch TV but with the weather being poor we spent time inside trying to watch the NCAA tournament and the picture quality was awful. Why spend the money on the HD TV and not get the HD service for it? The breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Biggest problem we had was the last morning we were there thunderstorms came through the area. The ocean front building was leaking water through the roof near the pool due to this rain. That water traveled through the walls or under our door into our room. This caused a dangerous situation since the floor is tile and it became slippery. Luckily we noticed the water before we slipped in it. This was annoying but the real issue was that our garment bag was on the floor inside the closet next to the door to our room. It was soaked. We attempted to dry it with the hair dryer in our room but that didn't do much. I ended packing our attire from the wedding we attended into the wet bag where it stayed on our 9 hour journey home. Not a bad hotel but they certainly need to address some things for their customers safety and pleasure not to mention the hotel's liabilities.

The hotel is right across from the beach. You do have to walk across one street to get there, but the walk is only a few yards. The best part about this hotel is the staff. Hands down you will not find a more friendly, hospitable, or ready to help group of people than the Best Western Grand Strand in Myrtle Beach. Top overall rating! If traveling to Myrtle Beach, this is the hotel to stay at!

nice hotel, but not all rooms are ocean front

nice but......

I also feel that the continental breakfast end it very early really really early I think 930am. wasn't terrible, but will not be returning
