Overall food was great, staff was friendly, and room and grounds were beautiful. Only complaint was the service all around was very slow unless staff was well tipped. Room service took close to 2 hours. Pool service spotty unless tipped in advance. I get it. Overall not bad. I'd stay here again.

This is one of the only beaches you are allowed to swim in. Views are gorgeous from your room.

Nice start. We were traveling with another couple and they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom unit With a nice view. The all-inclusive package was nice because it also included restaurants from the Pueblo Bonita next door. Provided more options. Large pool area. Service was mostly good, but some waiters were better than others. Had to call twice to get the room serviced. But overall they did a good job. Would definitely go back if the same deal was available.

We have stayed at many resorts and we had such a good time at Pueblo Bonita Rosa. From checking in with Carlos to the excellent service at the pool with Judis and Jose at our dinning experience. Everything was perfect. Each employee made you feel welcomed. We plan to come back soon as we travel to Cabo San Lucas three times a year.

Returned to this resort because we enjoyed our first stay 3 years ago. Very friendly staff, well organized, several choices of restaurants, beach and pool faculties are great, with nice views.

I now understand the polar opposite past reviews. My 12 yr old son and I stayed August 16-20. We got lucky as it was a period between busy times. The place is a bit understaffed..put a couple of people in line at the one pool bar and its beyond slow. The trick is to find a waiter, give him 2 or 3 dollars and your drink comes. The buffet was not exciting but we didn't care. Sushi outdoor restaurant very good. Didn't go to others. Views were good. Demand or tip to get a 4 floor or above for views and low noise. I choose this hotel for the swim able beach and close to the place for most water sports. $8 each way. This chain has nicer hotels but not swim able. 2 minute walk next door has good restaurants, too.pool is nice. Air conditioning is loud but acts as a white noise generator from noise outside. A couple unfriendly staff but most were great. If you have kid(s) the luxury suites are spacious.

Spent a week at the Rose in the middle of August. We chose this resort because of the location and the price. Facility was fine, a bit dated but good enough. The location is superb but in general there isn't a lot to do in Cabo so there isn't much reason to leave the resort. The food was average to below average. The best meal we had was at the sushi bar and the Sunday Brunch which they do well. All other meals at the buffet were not very good. The burger bar was ok. They really push the timeshare sales, kind of annoying. Don't ever buy a timeshare from a timeshare salesman. If you're going to buy a timeshare buy it second hand.

bonito rose and Blanca great hotel, overbooked hotel and transferred us over to pacific side 20 minutes away to room upgraded room but still big let down, pacific side is much different than Blanca side, big disappointment although room was top notch had no amenities like a full service hotel! failure !

The room was not as advertised online but still acceptable, the service over all was excellent at the restaurants and stores, but at the bar it was a bit touch and go...but long lines in the heat as a bartender will do it everytime, the sushi bar was awesome!!!!

Check in started out ok but then we were ushered to get out "towel card" where there was a high pressure pitch to attend another facility (time share) which was annoying and not really what you want to deal with when you first arrive. The wait staff/bar tenders did not seem happy to be there and were not very friends (or good at a service job to be frank). Long waits for drinks/food and only a couple of friend good servers. Food was a mixed bag, but there were some great places just down the beach so the locations gets a plus.

Laid back resort. Not a lot of night time activities. Staff was wonderful and helpful.

I loved this hotel, however it was really far from the action. I would say this hotel is more for couples than families/kids.

I just returned last night from Pueblo Bonito with my 18 year old daughter. It was over all-just ok. The surf and riptide were VERY strong, not a good swimming beach. I had no idea the resort allowed vendors to harass their guests ALL DAY EVERYDAY while laying out trying to relax on the beach. There were no evening shows and the food never varied at all for breakfast or lunch. We did enjoy the 24 hour room service included and town was great. We bought the Cabo Escape Sunset dinner cruise and it was awesome. Dolphin Discovery was not so much-if you don't do the more expensive package-you don't get very much. staff was very nice though. We had no pictures of our dolphin interaction because it was very expensive to buy the cd:( and no cameras were allowed unless it was their staff.

Love Cabo and Love The Rose! We go every year and always have a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Wanted more of a party scene like RIU or ME Cabo, but still a very nice place. The biggest problem was the "All Inclusiveness"

We had a luxury suite which had a separate bedroom (2 doubles) away from the living room/kitchen area. While the room itself was comfortable and accommodating there was just a sliver of ocean view (we were told it was the same for all of the Luxury suites) Our view was of a roof top and the pool. This is a timeshare and the owners have the views. Check in was simple. Hugo was awesome. Even let us go and check out two different rooms to see which one we like the most! We set up dinner reservations for the restaraunt at the Rose and the two at the Blanco. I suggest you do so as soon as you get to the resort because reservations fill fast. You will need a reservation for dinner each night you eat at a hotel. Even tho we were all inclusive, we went in to town for dinner two nights. We went to Morrow's (amazing!!! You have to go) the seafood dinner is cheap and fabulous! And to a taco place another night (sorry, not so memorable!) We snorkeled, air jet biked, and parasailed all thru the man off the beach there at the Rose. We played water volleyball from 2-5 everyday and made tons of friends in the water. Very disappointed that there was not a sand volleyball net tho I had asked on Twitter and was told there was a sand net. Overall we had a good trip. The beach at this resort is extremely hard to walk on. It takes a very hard drop to the water and the waves rush in hard. No nice walks on the beach here. We are beach people and this is not beach friendly for sure. Our thinking is that we can go to a pool at home...why go to a pool on vacation. We stayed at the pool this whole vacation because the beach was impossible. Bad planning on my part.
