Hands down, the staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The door to the room I stated in seeem to be old and did gave trouble getting into my room a couple times. I know we are living pandemic days and did not expect my room to be cleaned, but did expect towel service, but didn’t. The pool was closed, so no true amenities. Overall, the place was quiet, bed was comfortable and clean.

enjoyed my stay, nice cordial staff, very accommodating, convenient parking, good deal. only problem was door was hard to open with key card, had to try few times before open. convenient location, lost of delicious restaurants closeby and Gelsons.

Pictures may not be a reflection of the actual room you get. I thought I booked a room with bed+sofa, only came with a bed+chair. No microwave or all of those extras you would expect. Overall great hotel, and a lot of parking. A bit understaffed, but very clean. Still a 5/5 for me.

Took a chance on this place and not sure what to say. The property is just strange. Very weird

staff is friendly and very accommodating. Free covered parking is very convenient. It's understandable that there is no breakfast due to covad-19. only complaint is key card difficult to get into room. Must swipe key car about 10 times before it opens room.

Friendly staff and clean rooms; Easy check in and check out process

Great location and basically clean. It seems to have been renovated recently

I liked the pool and the on site laundry. We had two days of great cleaning, but we had to beg for wash cloths, hand towels and hand soap. We ended up using my son’s Aquafor to wash our hands when we had to go two days without hand soap, despite asking at the front desk. I guess I am sad that it is the “norm” to not wash hands after going to the bathroom?! The elevator broke while we were there and no one bothered to put signs up to notify us. I mentioned something to the front desk and nothing was done about it. I was promised it would be fixed that night, and when we went to check out the next day, not only was it not fixed but there were still no signs until I asked how long would it take to write up an “out of order” sign and tape it up? I asked to speak to the manager on two different occasions, and still have not heard from him. Other issues we had were that the refrigerator in our room was leaking. I didn’t say anything about it the first night thinking it might have been from defrosting from the last guest. I mentioned it to the front desk on the second night and they said they would fix it. It was good for another two nights and then started leaking. I did say something again to the front desk so hopefully the next guests wouldn’t have to deal with the puddles in their room. The AC for the room next to us leaked the entire time too, spewing a puddle from their room to ours. It was in plain sight, but no one bothered with it the entire week we were there.

Manhattan beach is such a beautiful area, very nice houses , close to good restaurants, shopping and well kept area. But, It is about 30-1 hour to Dtla so just keep that in mind. The room was exactly like the pictures I loved the shower head and the flooring (no carpet!). The pool and hot tub were so nice to use after a long day driving around and doing different activities. Because of the pool a lot of families stay here so you will hear kids in the walkways or pool so I wouldn’t recommend for couples without kids or singles. Over all it was a good stay and clean hotel!

The sheets had stains. The mattress was definitely a lower grade mattress, very unpleasant to sleep on. The floor, although nice to look at, was very unkept and needed to be swept. The front door had a huge gap/space at the bottom which let tons of cold drafty air in, I stayed when it was low Cali temps so, it kept the floor and the room both very cold. The tv worked, however, the cable or whatever tv options did not. The continental breakfast was very sub par. Aesthetically, the place looked great, it was in a safe and nice place of manhattan beach. Close to tons of things. But comfort wasn’t all that great. Definitely not worth what I paid. But I was there for a layover and meeting for one night. Staff was extremely pleasant.

The room was decently clean but the bed was hard. Breakfast was basic but good for being free. Would go back and stay. Location is great.

Great room for the price and location. Staff was very helpful & the room was clean.

The experience was very nice and i was impressed as always.
