The staff at the Marina Del Rey Ritz went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The concierge Shelley went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and excited. We look forward to our next Ritz stay.

Had a wonderful trip until hotel made errors at the end. Had a mini bar charge even though nothing taken. Valet gave our car to wrong guest who drove away. Had another charge that we disputed. Front desk said would investigate and get back to us by end of day. Weeks later no contact. I mentioned it here in review and received email from hotel manager saying wanted to contact me about it if I wanted him to so he could help resolve. I responded I would appreciate it with my phone number and email address. Been 3 weeks and no contact. Not sure why people are dropping ball. Loved hotel until this. We need to go to LA often and will lose a lot of business from us. Beware.

Took my parents for 3 nights for a Christmas surprise. We stayed at this Ritz about a year ago and they loved it. It is a beautiful hotel with nice location, but services on the Club level were not as good and, frankly, I expected more effort given we, like others, were there for Christmas Eve and Christmas itself. First they did not have a room with 2 beds as requested and, after waiting, were told we’d have to make due with a rollaway. We had repeated problmes with tha key cards not working (as did other people). Breakfast selections were the same EVERY day (luke warm scrambled eggs and over cooked bacon, mediocre lox and trimmings, Omelets were briefly offered one morning only). The “hot” offerings during lunch and dinner were generally warm at best and always the same (tomato soup 2 of 3 days, undercooked Brussels sprouts 2 of 3 days, soggy fries and mini reubens all 3 days, same antipasto and salad makings every day, The various hors d’ouevres were good but not great, not enough variety, and dessert was underwhelming, especially considering the holidays. it was simply a huge disappointment. We had to keep asking them to turn up the heat as it was quite chillly (several of us remarked that a small fireplace would be a wonderful addition). The staff, however, were wonderful and did their best to please, especially Zonia and Justin who are truly great at their job. All in all, it was a disappointment given the money spent and I don’t think I will go back to this location.

Could not have asked for better service and attention to our requests. Staff was friendly and met all our needs and more. Loved the ambiance and easy access to rooms and restaurant. The food and drinks were outstanding! We specially loved having breakfast at the fireplace tables enjoying the view of the marina. Relaxing and beautiful!

If one compares this to any 4 star hotels in Asia, this would be. Holiday Inn at best

We stayed after our wedding reception at this hotel. Don Quimby was kind enough to find us an upgraded room and offered us champagne at the reception desk. Our one slight concern was the bed wasn't very comfortable for sleeping (too firm for us, but you might prefer a firm mattress), but we otherwise had a fantastic time and highly recommend the hotel!

We had a Marina view room with a balcony. We enjoyed the pool area and pool bar, wonderful massages at the spa, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Some noise from the room above us, but a wonderful stay overall.

I specified a down-free, feather-free room. I was assured on the phone and at check-in that the room was down-free. Unfortunately, after lying down in the bed, I felt the quill of a feather sticking me in the back. I was shocked to see many feathers under the sheet. The worst part was after I called the front desk to complain, they said, "we need to hear what the housekeeping manager says". !!! Like my eyes don't see? Added insult to injury. Will not go back there.

Very nice location. I had a pedicure in the spa and the lady was very nice that did the pedicure. Pool was very nice also.

Yes, great experience. Even they even had text for Valet pick up, so there is no waiting. Everything was so perfect.

As far as Ritz's go, it is subpar and a little outdated. Wifi should be free but is is not. Very limited selection of movies. Small pool area. The surroundung neighborhood is quite sketchy and there is really nothing to do nearby. I was there for business and so didn't care as I met clients in the lobby and drove to other meetings. best part of the hotel was the 10 minute drive to LAX.

The people were lovely, great food recommendations from the staff, and very pleasing service. The pool and hot tub were so great and lots of fun!

We used to live next door and had not returned to the Marina to stay in over 18 years. This reminded us how wonderful it is to overlook the Marina with its sea breezes and respite away from the city of LA. A great way to stay in LA and have a bit of the ocean nearby.

The grounds were gorgeous, the staff was helpful and pleasant, and the room was phenomenal! Fantastic stay!

We were so pleased with this hotel. The staff. Opulent of been nicer or more efficient. The room was great and very clean. The maid service was great and very friendly. We loved our room facing the marina win a balcony. Excellent choice

As we arrived I was totally impressed with the bell boy and also front desk.They were super friendly and super efficient.Kudos to the entire staff at the Ritz Carlton at Marina Del Rey.The amenities were so extraordinary especially the gym.Special mention should be made of the eucalpytus sauna.The mist was totally mystical and magical.A second visit to this wonderful hotel is a definite must.

club level faltering
