Stay safe as good just a few issues. -Had to ask for face towels, room cleaned after 3:00 pm , but no replacement cups or lotion. Ice machines out of order had to go to at least 3 different floors to find a working machine. Restaurant good great and staff great.

We had a power drill Above us at 9:00 am on a Sunday w/out warning. It's dirty, old & overpriced. Never again! They nickel & dime you for everything!

Booked this hotel based on location to Universal Studios. Stayed for 2 nights. I was planning on walking to Universal from the hotel so it was going to be this or the Hilton, both of which are Universal Studio hotels. This one is a little farther away (about 5 min walk). The walk took 10 minutes each way but with 2 small kids and lots of hills it was somewhat tedious. There was a shuttle which comes every 10 min and drops you at Universal City which was convenient. We took the shuttle twice. The room was standard. The carpet was dirty. The bathroom was redone but it still looked somewhat "old" despite the granite countertops. But we weren't in the room much so it wasn't a huge deal. We used the pool once. The only issue with the pool was that it was cold despite it being > 90 degrees outside. Also the shallowest area is 3.5 feet so my 5 yo could not stand in any portion of the pool. The pool cabanas and lounges were nice however. We did not eat there so can not comment on the food. Overall we were happy with the hotel. However next time I may book the Hilton as it was closer and likely was nicer inside.

There was 1 clean towel and no soap or shampoo and conditioner the day of check-in. The next day, they left only 2 towels, even though the day before I asked for 4!

There was hammering over our heads in the morning and afternoon. The air conditioner leaked water on the end which wet the couch. We waited twenty minutes for elevator because one of the three elevators were not working. The second day we were in elevator the just stopped and we had to get off and wait for another. The phone keep ringing every fifteen minutes. We call front desk they sent maintenance immediately, they told us that there was only one line on the floor, so our phone would ring everyone some else did. The only good thing was the staff , they were friendly and nice.

Great amenities but paper thin walls. Bed was great!

Great location near Universal Studios. Good parking facility. Good dinner food. Lifts big problem. Breakfast very ordinary.

Walking distance to universal studios and Citi Walk! Staff was very helpful, restaurant service was really bad, we ended getting our own food from their buffet

The room was comfortable with the exception of the bathroom. It was very dated. The tub faucet dripped all night. The handles for the sink faucet were really tight and hard to turn on and off. The cost to park my car was almost $100 to for two nights.

Disappointing .....with Sheraton Universal Hotel. I was barely happy with the quality of the rooms and amenities. Can it be that expensive next to Universal Studio that you would skimp out on everything and charge $28/night for parking?

They have a shuttle that runs. But the hotel is within walking distance! Room was very nice and we would definitely stay here again!

The only thing this place really has going for it, is its proximity to Universal Studios and its free shuttle service, which runs every 15 minutes all day. The parking: You can pay $28/day to park in a dark and filthy garage (come and go) with a very sketchy elevator, or $38/day for valet. The lobby is nice, clean, wide open, the staff are pretty friendly. The elevators to go to your rooms are teeny tiny. Hallway is carpeted, decorated kind of dark, and a bit musty. The room has a decent overall appearance, open, nice big windows, comfy chair in the corner, multiple lamps, nice bedding. I felt like it could've been a bit cleaner, not that it was dirty, though. NO REFRIGERATOR, tiny mirror, and the bathroom is TINY! Smallest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel, including a super 8. Also, the ice machine was broken, there was no vent in the bathroom (or a window), and the walls were super thin. So anyway, just a lot of "dumpy" aspects, which wouldn't honestly bother me so much if I wasn't paying a bunch for the location, and paying $17 for two beers at their "bar" or $28/night to park, etc. I did not eat at their restaurant, however. Figured I'd rather get an $18 burger at Universal Studios or Citywalk.

I had no problems with the staff or location of the hotel, as both were great. But the rooms in the hotel are terrible, especially for the amount you are paying for the brand. Faucets leaking, black grout in showers, wall paper peeling, small plasma tv's and the air did not work properly in either of the 2 rooms I stayed in.

Great location, great trip. Hotel was clean and we could walk right to Universal Studios. Take a car if you are going around LA.

We were visiting from Monterey,CA to go to Universal Studios. After an awesome fun filled day at the park we were relieved to come relax at a close hotel. Our room did not come with a remote control for the TV, but the gentleman that came to deliver a control was helpful. My daughters loved the swimming pool!! My husband and I enjoyed the hotel restaurant and the restaurant staff... Very friendly and simply nice.

Location was great but the room was out dated for the price we paid.

close to universal but not as close as hilton

Water Leaking Wetting Couch

There was hammering over our heads in the morning and afternoon. The air conditioner leaked water on the end which wet the couch. too mush noise, elevator didn't work
