Nice pool and gym, plus being surrounded with water was nice.

Beautiful view

Great hotel whether you’re a boater or a landlubber

Beautiful view of the marina.

The property was clean & updated; the staff was helpful & friendly. The views of the marina are gorgeous & overall it was a very safe, clean & well-lit area.

The service was excellent. Rooms clean and nice. Just needed better lighting in the bathroom. While a soft amber glow can set a peaceful mood, it's not what you want when applying makeup. Even the lighted makeup mirror was dim.

I had an issue with a non-working toilet in my room. The person working the front desk, Jeremiah, cold not have cared less. When I informed him of the situation, he told me that "maintenance" had left for the day so nothing could be done until the next morning. Even though I didn't cause the toilet to malfunction, I asked for a plunger so that I could attempt what I hoped would be an easy fix. Jeremiah told me that the hotel "probably doesn't have a plunger", at which time I asked for a different room but he told me that no other rooms were available. When I informed Jeremiah that this was unacceptable, he told me that he would come up with a solution. He also told me that I didn't need to wait at the desk, he would call me in my room when he came up with a solution. After waiting 30 minutes, I walked back to the front desk and was advised by another employee, Unica (hope I spelled that right), that Jeremiah had left for the evening. I guess he thinks a working toilet is not a necessity. Not only did he leave without contacting me, he also did inform his relief of the situation prior to leaving. When I explained everything to Unica, she resolved the issue in less than 30 seconds by assigning me to another room with a working toilet. Overall, I was less than impressed with this hotel. The toilet issue, along with a non-working room safe, torn sheets and a $10 per night charge for a microwave in the room, I would not recommend this place.

Watch out for hidden daily parking fees buried in the Orbitz hotel listing.

Everything was good except the heat in my room was not working

The olace was cool i didnt like that i had to pay for parking there was no menu to get food and we couldnt call down to the desk.

We were there during a Covid and for several weeks while we waited for a renovation to be complete. The staff did their very best to see that we were well taken care of. Will recommend to anyone coming to visit LA. A gem!

The property is situated beautifully in Marina Del Rey. They have done an incredible job during this most difficult period of Covid. My stay was extended and the staff did a wonderful job, always kind and attentive. I would commend this Hotel to all friends coming from out of town. A great discovery!!

We booked a room for one night then ended up staying for 5. The location is perfect. The owner/staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. Property is well maintained and clean.

To be fair, the location is excellent. The mattresses are super. Beyond that things fall flat. Getting simple cup or water of coffee is a major effort. No soap to speak of. The attitude of the staff is sterile and chilly. On site restaurant is overpriced and they set rules upon entry: must leave in 90 minutes. Bring a stop watch, must order a minimum amount and get out. Overall OK. Just not the most welcoming place to stay. Nice facility but simple amenities or friendly touches not part of the experience.

The views were amazing. Also loved the restaurant. The gym is nice but could use an update. Our room 2209 needs a new sink fixture in the bathroom. It was very noisy and hard to lift. Loved that we could walk to the bike trail and restaurants. Just a great location. The price of parking g is ridiculous. I understand why is has to be valet but the price is just crazy.

Loved Third-floor Marina view rooms. Would like to see a coffee cart/café available (only one eating option available, salt restaurant).

Mr. Frankel, Thank you for your review and continued feedback of your experience with us at the Marina Del Rey Hotel. Recent market research indicated that all other 4-Star hotels in the Marina Del Rey/Venice area charge for parking and that our nightly parking rates are in fact competitively priced similarly to those hotels. We also offer a room package that includes parking if you are interested in a future stay. Thank you again. Cordially, Dylan Saladino Assistant Director of Front Office
