No Notice of Scheduled Maintenance in Advan

During a stay three weeks prior, we encountered bed replacement activities, necessitating a room change to accommodate my husband's upcoming surgery and minimize stress. They still changed the bed in our room during the stay! Subsequently, we returned for the rescheduled surgery date, only to experience a 10-12 hour water outage, resulting in my departure without showering. On both occasions, we received no prior notification via email or text, nor was any information provided during the booking process regarding scheduled maintenance that would disrupt our stay. The absence of advertised warnings about these issues, coupled with the failure to adjust the bill to reflect the inconveniences, is unacceptable.

Location was great although 4th of July weekend, they closed the roads and we couldn’t get back to the hotel! Would have been nice to have been informed in advance of a road closure. Other than that, pool was Nice and warm water was awesome. They could use some cleaning underneath the cabana chaises. They have bicycles available for rental which was cool. Bell staff were great. All of them!!

Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was the perfect stay for what we needed. Staff is extremely friendly and it is a beautiful, walkable location. Our bed did break but they took care of the issue right away and upgraded us to a new room. The pool area was so relaxing. It wouldn't hurt to have dishes, trash picked-up every once in awhile by staff and have the chairs wiped down. Parking was a bit pricey for parking ourselves. There is valet but it is the same price either way. We self-parked because the parking lot is not big, not a long way to walk so we didn't see the need in valet. That being said $52 a night is a little steep.

Great property and location. Rooms were great and staff was lovely. Our room was not poolside but at the end of the one hallway and near the garbage bins. This caused a lot of flies on our porch and the garbage pick up was quite early. So that was disappointing. I also thought that the pool deck (especially under the chairs which is eye view when in the pool) could have been cleaned more regularly bc Debris tend to accumulate in these spots. None of these remarks would keep me from Staying here again- just observations that might be helpful to management.

My favorite place to stay when I am in LA for business because it doesn’t feel like LA. Marina Del Rey hotel has that old Hollywood feel without being dated. It’s sits right in the marina and I fall asleep with my door cracked for the fresh air and seals that put you to sleep. I just love it. Might be one of my favorite hotels of all time. Not a huge fan of the restaurant and food options but there are lots of options nearby.
