The staff were great and offered lots of help with our stay. When we checked in the gentleman at the front desk offered us warm cookies and parking options. We also were taken care of with the continental breakfast in the morning. The food selection was wonderful with healthy options. The location was also perfect with great restaurants near by. I would recommend Los Compadres for authentic Mexican food.

We had a very comfortable stay at the DoubleTree and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel felt welcoming, clean, and relaxing. One thing we especially appreciated was the large parking lot, which gave the property a more private and spacious feel compared to many other hotels. It made coming and going easy and added to the overall sense of comfort and convenience. The staff was friendly, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The check-in was quick and smooth after a long ride out of town. We were greeted with warm cookies and water. Our room was also upgraded due to our child needed certain amenities for a personal issue. The bar tender downstairs at the restaurant was lovely too. I’d definitely stay here again!

**2 to 2.5 Stars for a Hilton Property** This DoubleTree by Hilton in Norwalk, Los Angeles deserves a 2 to 2.5 star rating, well below what the Hilton and DoubleTree names would suggest. The room felt old throughout, and the carpet, both in the room and across the hotel, is worn and overdue for replacement. In the bathroom, the towel rack protrudes out toward the toilet area, creating an awkward obstacle that made it uncomfortable to move around the space. The tub also had a drainage problem. Over our two day stay, the water never drained out properly. The hotel needs significant renovation, starting with new carpet throughout. Honestly, it may need more than a facelift to bring it up to the standard of other DoubleTree Hilton properties I've stayed at. Staff were friendly, and the location was convenient for getting to and from where we needed to go. But based on the physical condition of the property, this one earns 2 to 2.5 stars at best.
