Unpleasant stay

Our stay was very uncomfortable. once we got there we noticed many things seemed to be damaged and not working . It’s very concerning how unsanitary the place was, and the hazards endangerment that was involved in our stay . Once we were ready to go to bed and unfolded the bedsheets we noticed blood stains , pee stains , hairs all over the bed sheets and other stains not sure what they were . We ended up just sleeping in a single bed when I had purchased a 2 bed room because of how dirty the other bed was . We had noticed that most of the lamps / lights in the room were all damaged and broken and outlets were exposed . We tried to turn the lamp on not only did the light bulb almost fall but a spark came out of the exposed outlet which I believe that should be taken very seriously especially for the price payed making our stay not pleasant at all.

One night only.

Young lady at front desk was excellent. (helpful, courteous). The mattress was very uncomfortable and should be changed. The room was not clean. Hair all over the bathroom floor and base of toilet. The toilet had a water leak and was running all night. The wall unit providing heat was quite loud and it did not feel like the thermostat was working. It's an older hotel and probably needs updating.

My husband and I and our two young kids had to go to a funeral so we stayed here. The first night we were woken up at least 5 times because the light kept randomly turning on, lighting up the entire room. The next day as we were getting ready for the funeral, there was no hot water for anyone in the hotel. We all took freezing cold showers. They kept saying to give them 5 minutes and it would be fixed, but an hour and a half later, we just had to go or we would be late. We ended up checking out of our 3 night stay, and the girl at the front desk was super nice and apologized and said she would give us a full refund, and that I just had to call Expedia and she would confirm with them as well. So we left. A few days later I call Expedia and ask for my refund and explained what happened. They said the property was not approving a refund for the night that we stayed there with no hot water, but only refunding us for the two nights that we didn’t stay there. Days Inn manager said it would be impossible to refund, and then continued to repeat about 30 times “ma’am I’m so sorry you had a bad experience, but there is nothing I can do” like a broken record. They stopped answering my questions and kept repeating that line as if they were trying to de escalate the situation, but that just made me more frustrated because they weren’t being solution oriented. They wouldn’t budge on my refund I was promised.

Much traffic in entering and leaving the site. All eating places were located in back of building. So we had to walk around the block. The service was mediocre- hair blower and the TV remote control did not work! I had to go to front desk twice instead of offer to bring it up to my room (courtesy).

This property is DISGUSTING. Everything was so gross in our room. Broken drawer, cabinet between tables the drawer wouldn’t stay closed. They fixed it with cardboard under feet. Refrigerator was broken so that spoiled our food. Called the manager who is useless. We got 30 bucks off our entire stay. DO NOT STAY HERE! I would strongly suggest spending a tad more. Parking is limited and I do not think coffee and pre-packaged cinnamon rolls is breakfast. Expedia shouldn’t even offer this hotel. Gross, unprofessional staff, and rundown is an understatement. You’ve been warned

Building is conveniently located, ample parking and for the most part clean, staff is okay not the friendliest but also are not exactly rude. The rooms are fair in size just wish the beds were a little more comfortable. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
