Unfortunately, we did not even get to go inside. When our group arrived, after a long day of travel, there were no keys in the lock box! After an hour of sitting outside the door in a hot, dirty hallway, the host had not solved the issue so the host had to cancel and we had to quickly find another place to stay for our group. Just almost ruined our vacation.

A wonderful stay with a few glitches

We had booked this property for our families hen party. The location was amazing and the property was as promised. Communication with the owner was great. He was really accommodating. Very stylish and an incredible deck with a beautiful view. As we arrived, the building was under some renovations so there was a lot of dust, the elevator broke, but we got help right away. There were a few things in disrepair in the flat like a broken chair and some cracked mirror on the table, but that was all. Tons of storage, good linens, lots of towels and good amenities. We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you!

Property was great, good space & views. However could do with a good clean and oven would not heat up and coffee maker & toaster not working which let it down a bit! But overall we had an amazing weekend.

London stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location. The apartment was a good base for us to travel from. There were some small things that could have been better that kept us from a 5 rating. The rooms were recently updated and nice but not completely finished everywhere. It was sparsely stocked for 6 people. Just 6 settings of dishes and towels. Hard to keep washing everything with no backups. Carpet in living area needs replacing and dryer did not work. Terrace and outside furniture in rough shape. Some simple TLC and final updates will help. Overall we were happy with the spot and enjoyed being together. Hope the review helps to get this rating higher in the future! Thanks

Wonderful Property at Hoxton Square!

This property worked beautifully for our family of four. Julian was fabulous to work with and was incredibly responsive to every inquiry we had. He did everything in. his power to facilitate our stay including an earlier arrival and later departure -- for which we are deeply grateful. The property is located within an easy walk of Old Street Tube station and several bus lines, as well as Shoreditch, which has a ton of great restaurants and shops. We loved it.

Great View Needs a few repairs

The flat was great just a couple things. On the description it says it has a dryer it does not. The electronic blinds were way off in sync, difficult to manage the cooling upstairs off. The freezer was completely frozen with ice we could not get it open. There is only one small towel and wash rag for each room. Lastly, upon arrival there was no extras to get us through one day.

Fun location for restaurants and pubs

Located in a great spot, the VRBO was just like the listing. The host replied immediately to any questions. Check-in was simple. We didn’t have any problems whatsoever. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, bars and stores. Quick walk to the tube. The neighborhood was bustling and I felt completely safe at all hours. A few items to improve: The entryway to the building and to the lift was in need of a refresh, but the flat itself was clearly redone. The bath towels were small and the shower sprays water on the floor.

A good time in a good place

Modern design and conveniences, lots of space. The great ingredient of the place is the view -- over the rooftops of East London. The area is lively, with good restaurants, a fun atmosphere and quite a few nearby facilitie such as a laundromat and a grocery store. We had a good time
