Loved the pool and rooms were clean and plenty of room

The hotel was very nice. The only bad thing I have to say is at check in. In order to get your parking pass you had to get a "welcome package". Which turned out to be a high pressure sales. We told them we had a baby out in the car.... didn't even hear us!!! The man was so involved in his speech that what we had to say was not important. We had been in Vegas 3 days prier, we didn't need or want his recommendations. We just wanted the parking pass.

Nestled between the MGM Grand and the Planet Hollywood, you are in a quieter area of the Strip without being as far away as Hard Rock Hotel. Plus they have a 24-hour spa and pool for adults which most strip hotels do not have. (It makes no sense because Las Vegas likes to sell you on their nightlife and yet they usually close their pools When the Sun Goes Down.) What's great is that you actually get 4 Beds which can be difficult to find when searching Websites for "4 Men" in one room. Was a great place to reunite 4 guys for our college reunion. Thank you Orbitz for allowing me to search for rooms that can hold five people because so often other websites think that when you search for four adults that you only need 2 queen beds. Please note that the Wyndham Grand Desert is run like you're at a timeshare which means that you won't get daily maid service. You will get your towels replaced every day, but they won't make your bed. That probably explains why they're able to afford lots of 24-hour security to keep their pool open 24 hours. On the other hand the master bedroom comes with a washer and dryer for laundry and your kitchen comes furnished with servings for 6 people, dishwasher, and dishwasher detergent. Plus they offer complimentary coffee in your room (which unfortunately many strip hotels do not offer)

Overall, hotel was pleasing. Nice staff except for sales force. Room was nice and clean and had everything we needed! Only negatives were the dated appearance of bathroom and poor condition of its cabinet doors. Also ran out of hot water every time. Did not appreciate getting called to again ask about timeshare ownership. Sales force not as aggressive at desert blue hotel.

Really nice hotel. Didn't like that staff was nice at the beginning but once you said no to their presentation like timeshare they were rude. Very pushy.

In order to recieve our parking permit, we had to endure the staff member holding our permit hostage until we agreed to an “orientation tour” that was actually a timeshare sales pitch. The property, location and service were pretty good, though.

About a mile off the strip. Nice heated pools and facilities. Shuttle to Harrah's every half hour. They shake you down for a timeshare pitch upon check-in -- do yourself a huge favor and decline no matter what they offer you -- not worth sacrificing your dignity. Free parking, free internet, no resort fees. The rooms are modern and comfortable. They don't provide daily housekeeping but you can get additional shampoo etc. Good value for the money.

Really enjoyed our stay. Missed maid service. We had a party of eleven. The suttle bus was very helpful. Would have been better if it provided transportation to and from the airport and downtown. Overall very nice.

If you're promised anything to participate in a timeshare presentation, please do yourself a favor and say NO before it's too late. The staff is very pushy to get you into their sales pitch. Do some research first (there are plenty of videos on youtube about time share scams) and don't fall into this brain washing session. The breakfast they offer is disgusting and the caterer is told to keep the portions tiny. By signing up for timeshare you're a guranteed cutsomer for their chain of hotels/resorts. That means you'll be paying for the rest of your life regardless if you're going on vacation or not, there's no way out, you can't make money out of this, it's not an investment. It's just guaranteed money for all middlemen involved in this "program". If you think it'll only take 2 hours, as promised, expect 4-5 hours instead. Needless to say that ruined our entire day. As for this particular resort the cleanliness is not top notch, and like everything else in Vegas, it's very kitschy, it's all about the facade. You'll see workers painting the baseboards over and over again, just to pretend that they're doing maintenance constantly. If you don't mind random drunk timesharers, walking with their bottles of vodka, then this is for you. For us, it wasn't and we're not going back there anytime soon.

Great place for families just off the Vegas Strip.

I overlooked the chaos and the two lines I had to stand in while checking in. Went to my room and everything was ok. Day two I return after being out and my room key doesn't work. I go downstairs to the lobby and no one is working in my tower. I call customer service and explain my situation to the rep and she berates me and hangs up on me. Really? That's how you treat your guests. Third day a whole trash bag full of garbage sat in the hallway all day. Next morning I get up to leave and it's still there. Come back that afternoon, and it's still there. Overall I'd say I'm disappointed compared to the other places I've stayed while visiting Las Vegas.

Hotel likes to push the time share. It was an acceptable and moderately priced facility. It is family friendly, but more like visiting the Florida panhandle.

I booked this hotel for the price but did not know that it was a timeshare. Staff was very friendly but just know that this is not a real hotel. There are no restaurants in the building except for a deli and there is also no room cleaning each day.

Family & kid friendly. Very comfortable & clean. Would definitely stay here again !

This hotel is just off the strip making it nice and quiet. No casinos no smoky atmosphere as in the majority of hotels here. An apartment well equipped complete with washing machine and kitchen. This is part of a time share complex so just ignore the request to go on the tour.

I stayed 3 days with my wife, kids and mother in a 2 bedroom suite, wow,it was big with 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area.Casino shuttles were prompt and convenient to get to and from the strip.

It was a great place to stay that is tucked away from the busyness of the strip and the pools were great for the kids

Great place, eventhough they did yry scheduling us for a timeshare presentation, they were not very pushy when we turned them down. Overall great place for the family.

They are smooth about getting you into the timeshare presentation. But the room, pools, and free shuttle are definite perks. I will say you might consider comparing rates through the hotel directly for booking.

Room was beautiful and we'll appointed. Enjoyed amenities. Location was convenient to get to places we wanted to visit with grandchildren as well as being close to the strip for shows and dinners. Would definitely recommend this resort.
