I will NEVER stay here again! It was dirty, smelled like urine, toilet always clogging and outlets didn’t work.

It’s ok not very good and not very bad nice time was

The property is in the old section of town. There are lots of homeless people and unsavory- looking characters around. The property itself has seen better days. But it’s to be expected for the price. There are 2 negative facts I want to share. I stayed there 10/4 in room 102. There’s a bad patch job on the ceiling of the bathroom above the toilet. Water comes through the ceiling whenever someone flushes the toilet in the room above! The other issue is minor. Although there’s a coffee maker in the room, disposable cups were not provided. Not even in the bathroom. Iron, ironing board and hair dryer were present. Soap and shampoo are of good quality. Air conditioner worked well.

Reasonable price, room had a microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. A/C was loud but worked

THE ENTIRE HOTEL NEEDS AN UPDATE. MAINLY THE INSIDE. THE STAIRS. THE FLOORS. THE CARPET. THE BED. The only decent thing about our stay was the bathroom.. even at that the light of our bathroom wasn’t functioning. As I was walking to the room, I feared to see how the room was going to be... the bed was probably the biggest disappointment. 1. Get rid of the mattresses and covers AND replace them. 2. Was that made for people who were below 5’1”?!

One of the beds was very dirty , the comforter has stains, the pillow case was supposed to be white and it looked yellow on top of that it had what it seemed to be red lipstick smeared..

Office is closed until 9am. There is no way to check out before that time. The $50 deposit was never removed. Staff was very friendly but I had no clue how to process my Orbitz booking. The room was clean but a bag of linens was left on a chair from what I think was housekeeping.

Upon arrival, I could see the hotel’s upkeep was below standard, the floors leading to the room were filthy. They gave me key cards, that didn’t work, then when we did get in the room the air conditioner didn’t work, (in the summer, in Vegas) they moved my family to another room and the covers and bedspread were dirty and stained, the walls were dirty.. Needless to say, My child asked to sleep in the car, rather than stay here. So, we are leaving, seeking new accommodations. ‘Worst $100.00 dollars ever waisted’

No hot water to the room was a nice touch. Complained to front desk and they did nothing about it, didn't offer to switch my room. I've stayed at Shalimar many times and this is the second straight bad experience. Before this visit, last time I stayed there the shower plumbing would back up when the shower wasn't even in use. Again, front desk didn't seem to care. Too bad.

Very Happy With Our Stay.Very Secure Place .....Very Friendly

The most horrible experience Old and smell a humidity

Talk about Hotel Hell... I can deal with the paint that hasn't been touched in 30 years, the tube tv, the phone that seemed one generation beyond a rotary, the outdated everything, the tiny bathroom and ashes all over it in what is supposed to be a non smoking room, no clock anywhere, even the hallway door right outside the room slamming all day and night... But for gods sake, at least replace the matress. Half of it felt like a wooden plank and the other half sank like quicksand. Might as well replace the bed with cots and sleeping bags, it'd be more comfortable. On a positive note, there was a microwave and fridge.

Online this hotel looked decent. Not the case. The walls and doors of the room were disgusting dirty. Spots on the towels and thick soap scum on the shower head. I checked out a day early.

wifi never worked. Loud street noise. patio door lock was broken, door chain was missing. Cuban restaurant was never open any time I was there. Staff was courteous. Neighborhood was full of condemned buildings, nothing was nearby.

1st the room had little cockroaches in the bathroom and room area. The phone on the night stand was broken in half. I was looking for money misplaced or stolen and lifted the mattress up to find a used crack pipe and a crusty towel under the mattress. Stayed here before, 5 years ago and had a way better and so much cleaner experience! Very disappointed and will probably never stay here again.

Was a nice place. Nothing extraordinary. Room was comfort but not quite up to date with technology, not enough plugs in convenient area. It was quite, got a good nights rest.

When we first arrived there was a problem with the restroom ceiling leaking but when we addressed it to the man at the front counter he quickly took care of us by moving us to another room. Other than that everything was great. I would recommend new comfortable mattresses but that's all up to the hotel itself.

At midnight when I went to bathroom, I have found roaches. The hotel is very old and door lock was broken. After we called front desk, they had a service person fixed it.

Front desk attendants didn't speak English, patio door was broken. 3/5 stars for the price
