Housekeeping failed to clean our room properly and did not leave towels each time they came. We had to call the front desk when we returned in the evening to obtain towels. One time we had to wait about 30 minutes before they brought the towels.

could have fake grass for pets - it's hard to motivate a dog to do their business on 110 degree lava rocks
We had no water during our stay from 10 am to 5pm and sometimes longer. I felt the water times should have been 12am to 5am when people are sleeping not doing prime hours as such and the staff was rude about it
Hotel and amenities were great. Room was a bit noisy being on the corner of two busy streets. The access door between the room and the adjoining room offers poor noise insulation. Unfortunately, after a long day out, I was welcomed to a room with no running water and the staff offered no concession for the inconvenience.
