The hotel is located in a beautiful area. The best beaches are only 5–7 minutes away by car, and the same goes for restaurants. Our room was nice but slightly outdated. The shower, kitchen, and toilet were clean, though the floor and drawers had a bit of dust. The air conditioner worked fine, but if they had a SPLIT A/C system, the place would be perfect—even with the older furniture. Housekeeping came every day to change towels and sheets when needed. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, the hotel’s location and staff were the best parts of our stay.

The unit we booked said garden view. Because the unit spans the length of the building, one end had garden and the other end had a beautiful view of the beach! Our unit was on the ground floor. If footsteps above your head bother you, this could be an issue. While we loved the location of the unit, it was a bit of a haul from the parking lot. If you are movement impaired, you might want to be sure you are closer to parkiing. Location is excellent, very clean, friendly, helpful staff. Washer/dryer a bit outdated but very clean. Pool clean and inviting. Wifi worked great. TV was next to impossible to figure out but we didn't spend much time trying to watch. Overall we would definitely stay here in the future!

Although I booked a 1 bedroom unit with a king bed, I pleasantly surprised to receive a 2 bedroom unit which was why the front desk did not seem too pleased about upon check-in. (Oversold the 1 bedroom units). The unit itself was spacious and although it had two bathrooms, one of them had a clogged sink. We didn't bother getting it repaired as we still had another working one. Towels were replaced daily and the unit actually had a washer/dryer. The unit also had beach chairs, an umbrella and cooler which was great for use at the beach. Overall I would stay again.

I really liked the size and accessibility of the unit I rented, but...it was on the ground floor. Each building has two units, one up and one down. The structure is entirely built out of wood, so...anyone group staying above you , you will hear every single foot step, stomping, running, banging, etc in the unit below. Additionally, on the ground floor units, there are double sets of double doors leading to the lanai, in both the living room and primary bedroom. Unfortunately, the unit I rented had just the little pin insert lock on the door handles, so nothing ever really felt secure. On the bright side, Aston Maui Hill does not skimp on fresh towels every day! It was just me in the unit and every day, an additional 4-6 sets of towels were delivered, on top of what was already there. The furniture in the unit looked like classic garage sale stuff and was pretty grungy. The whole thing could use some paint, as well as new carpeting. The staff was nice, though and the property was well situated for the places and things I wanted to visit.

We absolutely loved our time here. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Walking distance to multiple beaches, great snorkeling, and the on-site amenities were fantastic! Great place and great value!

The place is clean and we like the Mai Tai Party. Not accessible for people with mobility abilities. My wife uses a cane and she had difficulty going up and down the stairs to and from the suite. Otherwise everything was excellent.
