The young lady at the front desk was trying her best to make our stay possible but she could not overcome the lack of an elevator, no cart rack for transporting luggage the incorrect information concerning the pet deposit and last but definitely least the very poor condition of the rooms heating system. When we got there she told us our room was on the second floor but there was no elevator and we didn’t really want to pack all our stuff upstairs. She said she would have to contact the manager but she would go ahead and change our room to the 1st floor. When we entered the room it was about 100 degrees so we turned off the heat and turned on the AC. Then the young lady came and said the manager wanted us in a different room so we went to that one and it was just as hot as the 1st one. We turned the AC on but the dial for the thermostat was broken and just spun around. At this point we were done (we had been driving for 13 hours) and said we wanted a refund. The manager wasn’t there so we would contact Expedia to take care of it. Expedia came back and said the manager said we should have cancelled the booking according to the rules before we arrived. We had no prior knowledge of the issues that occurred. They need to fix the thermostat and fire their manager for incompetence. Oh and we don’t recommend anyone booking this hotel ever.
