No, it was HORRIBLE. We ended up checking in Friday, October 31st and checked out Saturday November 1st, it was that bad.(The dates above aren't accurate. We were booked through to Thursday November 6th). We drove home instead. First, the dinner Friday night, Halloween was disgusting, we ended up walking over to the gift shop for Microwave food. Then the entertainment in the lounge was supposed to be a themed event and little did we know it was locals with their kids dressed up in costume going from table to table asking for candy in a lavish ballroom. I was stunned because they said it was going to be a piano bar(We don't have children, but I love kids, yet not trick or treating when it was supposed to be a romantic getaway). Then Saturday morning, I asked where the gym was and I was told, "Sorry, the gym is for employees only". I've traveled all over the country and I have never heard that the guest can't use the gym, ever! I then surrendered and even though I'm not a big breakfast person, I prefer lunch food, my husband is. When we were seated we were told it was a special that morning and it was going to be a buffet. I ordered tow mimosas and she said, "Sorry they didn't have a bartender in that morning." Huh? On a buffet? It's not that complicated but oh well. We went to the buffet and I swear everything was ice cold. Who serves ice cold eggs? The muffins were like rocks and it was disgusting. Almost every table made a plate, tried to make it work, a

I didn’t expect much from this hotel. Photos online were a little bland looking but I was surprised. While the decor is dated and the building old it seemed fresh and clean and the staff were lovely, really lovely! Just don’t book a claw foot tub room if you have balance issues.
