Canyon Lodge is located inside Yellowstone National Park, it is centrally located providing reasonable access to various areas of Yellowstone. Rooms are great! Food options, as is the case with most National parks, is limited. Will difinatly will stay here again.
Great location, good breakfast menu but very limited dinner menu. Rooms were nicely decorated, ample space. Great variety at the general store and souvenir shop.
The value for the price was disappointing. We stayed in Dunraven. Building and room was well worn and not especially clean or well maintained. No housekeeping service according to the front desk. Wi-fi was out. All this for over $400 a night.

A decent place to stay in the park. Front desk staff were very nice. Tiny, the gentleman that helped us with our luggage was, indeed very helpful! Unfortunately, they only had a very small ( in offerings) in main lodge( were you check-in) coffee and sandwiches, at a ridiculous high price. No "real" restaurants, just a take out/ sit down hotdog place. All foods( there and gift shop, ridiculously expensive).
First of all Orbitz listing is incorrect. There is no internet in some rooms. We were assigned a room without internet. There was no ice/water station close by. In night, there is no parking close by and you have to walk quite far from the room. There is no house keeping on daily basis. After requesting they still didn't refill the coffe cups. The main reception is quite far. So, there is no way

The facility is renovated and upto the par with other hotels outside the park. Its cnveniently located in the middle of the park and really close to best part of the park. Yellowstone Canyon!!!
The Canyon Cabin was great, beautiful, and clean. We were here for july 4th weekend so the weather was very cool. the bathroom and bathtub was spacious. the cabin was quiet and no noise from the outside area. There is no AC in the cabin so if you are booking for hot weather time, make sure you are aware of NO AC in the cabin. There is also no Wi-Fi in the cabins. Wi-fi is only available at the lodge hotel buildings. Dining options were limited and as expected since this is far from other big cities.

Was not aware that there are multiple cabins here and had to check in at the front first to be assigned the room. We stayed in the DUNRAVEN. No tv in the rooms, no AC, but there was a fan. The food options are good but not tasty to be honest. Probably would not stay here again. Too pricey in my opinion for what you get.
You are paying for location, no question. The lodge is in a great spot in the park, rooms are big, but very expensive.
The staff, eatery and gift shop was very nice. Our room not so much! No TV or microwave(I was told each room had a fridge and microwave) our bathroom was dirty had hair all in the shower and on the floor in the bathroom. A window was broken and was OPEN the entire time (got down to 38*) it rained and water blew in for a few hours. The common areas were nice and clean though.
I went there in early May. Luckily this is opened. No other canyon facility is opened. It is close to the grand canyon view points,
This place is kinda a joke, only thing good is location, as in it is in the park. First there are different wings, keys didn't work so had to go all the way back to main building. NO TV OR AC in rooms. Paid extra for "balcony" got a first floor room that looks onto the parking lot, from what I saw not really any balconies so don't waste your money on that. Bathroom was dirty. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Bed were not comfortable, then the kicker was called in at 7:45 for papercups to make coffee (only given plastic.) They said didn't come in till 8 to I said don't worry. At 8:15 were knocking at my door to clean it, asked for paper cups they are out. . .. So no TV, no ac now no coffee. Also cost about $350
It is an ok place but very expensive!! I think the price is artificially high because there is no competition
