We loved our stay at Canyon Lodge! Our room was very clean and comfortable! The lodge is centrally located in the park. The food at the eatery was very good and reasonably priced, plus quite a few options! We loved our visit to yellowstone!!

This property is central to all Yellowstone sights (which is a great asset) considering all the driving that is done around the park. We loved the location and the restaurants were convenient after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay there again!

Unwanted guest in room

At first glance was satisfied with our room. Until we quickly discovered a mouse running around it. The most unfortunate aspect was no one offered to move our room. All they were going to do was set an electronic trap to try to catch it- while we were expected to stay and sleep in the room. I understand the hotel is next to fields and this may happen, but I don't think we should be expected to room with the mouse. Adding to the unfortunateness of the situation was maintainence bemoaned the fact that they could not use traditional style traps because guests did not want to look at a mouse carcass. We had to actively ask for another room, and upon seeing a second mouse in the hallway, had to force the issue to stay in another building. Other than the mouse issue, room was fine (albeit a bit hot with no a/c). Wi-fi terrible but it is Yellowstone so not too unexpected. Overall, rooms are very pricey for what you get, but location inside the park is awesome. Staff are friendly but very slow service if you need anything.
