No cell phone signal, on-site restaurant closed with no forewarning prior to arrival (next nearest option was 8 miles away), no coffee maker in the cabin, no coffee cups in the cabin (front desk said they removed them in the summer), and the fireplace is not really a fireplace (it’s a fake fireplace with an electric heater that blows warm air from the top of it and lights up in the bottom). For $250 per night, there are much better options in Jackson city.

This lodge is in the middle of the forest, with not much around. They have onsite restaurants, a gas station, general store and gift shop so that is super helpful. Food was very good at the bar and the restaurant had a great buffet breakfast in the morning. Prices were very reasonable. Very friendly service. Was only there one night but would have been fun to spend more time there- they have horse riding and cookouts for an extra cost. Only compliant was that the noise from people walking on the floor above was pretty loud- may be more disruptive if there for multiple nights. Overall, good stay. You do have to watch out for beers but the front desk warns you about that.

Check in was great as we had 8 bikers in 4 rooms that arrived at different times during the afternoon. Bre is awesome! Rooms in the main lodge have air conditioning, which is nice in the summertime. We were assigned cabins in the back, which don't have A/C. Evening was a bit warm, but cooled down overnight. The cabin was clean and spacious. Didn't use the small kitchenette, but see that this would be nice if staying a week in the winter. Dinner was rough. Too few servers and couldn't get food orders correct. One guy got sick from his burger. The bar-man was very friendly. Breakfast was much better as its a buffet. Price was a bit high for overall value, but considering it is the closest hotel to Yellowstone's south entrance, it fit our needs. From stories we heard, its more a destination for winter vacation with plenty of snow-mobiling.

Older facility, does not look like it does in the pictures, much older, no a/c except on 3rd floor lodge rooms. It’s cool at night but stuffy during the evening. Noise traffic is loud as are the adjoining rooms. Breakfast was excellent although not included in the rate. Dinner at Buffalo Valley Cafe down the road about 15 minutes was great!

Great staff and a 2 and 1/2 room log cabin, all for less than a hotel room in Yellowstone. They also offer horseback trail rides to book through them for a fee. Staff were very concerned to ensure we had a good experience.

V nice and private room. Great mountain location and great service from friendly staff.

Beautiful location. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. It is an older lodge, so it is not luxurious, but the room was very nice. The food there in the bar and the restaurant was excellent. The staff was helpful and incredibly nice. Overall was a great experience

Great Hotel - Excellent staff - Beautiful scenery and area.

This was a quick stay overnight on the road - we were only there for 10 hours mostly to sleep. All in all what we expected. Nice staff and facility - I would stay there again if travel warranted it.

We stayed at the non-smoking cabin and it was so nice. The room was very clean. You can even cook there is you want. We all like the place.

Great location. Just outside the park. Clean and comfortable stay.

Disappointed with the room and bathroom based on other people’s ratings of this hotel - definitely wasn’t a 4.1/5.0 in my mind! We stayed in the main lodge. They’ve updated the main level - restaurant, bar, gift shop, but not the rooms. We paid way too much for our accommodations. Tried to cancel our 2nd and 3rd nights, but they wouldn’t let us.

Nice spot in the mountains! Very comfortable and close to the Tetons

Quite a hike from town, Jackson Hole WY. Beautiful scenery and remote. Bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Only drawback for us old folks was that there is no elevator so we had to pack our luggage up a flight of stairs.

Large cabins and clean hot tub. Nice to be able to play cards at the table in the front room while the kids were sleeping in the back bedroom.

Perfect place to stay on our way to elk hunt. The cabins were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful
