We enjoy the hotel its a nice place
Location is great, staff is great
The rooms felt old and small. Breakfast was good. Sighs were posted to wear masks but no one used a mask! No enforcement at all. Plenty of coughing in the shared breakfast area and rooms too small to eat in. Having a hands free water filling station was nice.
Rain shower didn’t work but other than that accommodations were fantastic.
Loved the shuttle service and nice breakfasts.
This is an old hotel, and the online photos make it look the Taj Mahal. Not quite as nice as a 20yr old Hampton Inn.
They did not have a bell men and also the kitchen could be better , rest the staff was good
Great fireplace and shower
Good quality for the price. Nice amenities and service.
The hotel was well located, about 1-2 miles from town. It is walkable, in good weather, but down the main road, so lots of traffic. The hotel sits off the main road, and there is not much to see or do in the vicinity.
The property has a very good advertisement, which is different from the reality. Their pictures of it are beautiful but misleading. For instance: the areal photo of the hotel gives the impression that it is located in the forest. Actually it is off the Main Street and surrounded by many buildings. Then the room with the fireplace that we chose from their advertisement was far different from the pretty picture on their website. Our room was very dark with 4 low-light site lamps, not bright like on the picture. The art was hanging uneven on the wall, the furniture were old and their color was not the same as shown. The carpet was also looking dirty and the room had an old hotel odor. The fireplace was also disappointing. We do not agree with the money we paid for this not so special place. On the other hand. The bathroom was modern. The breakfast was very good. We loved the burritos - we tried every morning a different one and they were delicious - bacon, mushrooms, spinach... The pool area was nice too. If we go back to Jackson we will try another place.
Overall a very nice property. The room was very comfortable. Our check-in however was not very informative. The woman who was checking us in was called unfriendly and did not seem to be enjoying herself in any sense of the word. Upon inquiring about the free bus to the Jackson hole mountain resort she confirmed indeed the service was free. I did not however tell us that we need tickets which the hotel front desk provides to make the ride free therefore for two days we paid for the service. She also did not inform us that there was a free shuttle providing travel to any in town restaurants shops etc. I intend to call the hotel manager about my experience.
The hotel staff was super nice and accommodating. Our hotel room had a view of the mountains!
Check in staff was not very helpful and tv in the bedroom and living room didn’t work.

Thank you for the nice review in spite of a few items you weren't pleased with. We have vigilantly followed Teton County covid guidelines and ordinances throughout this difficult time. On Dec 31st the mask mandate expired in Jackson. While our staff still wear masks, we can no longer require it of our guests. We appreciate and value your feedback, we also hope we get the opportunity to see you on a future trip.

Thank you for the great review despite a maintenance issue with your rain shower. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed staying with us and we hope to see you again, soon!
Loved the shuttle service and nice breakfasts.

We are sorry to hear that we didn't match the Taj Mahal this trip. We have made a number of renovations during our last two off-seasons and have some wonderful improvements coming this fall. We hope we get the opportunity to make a better impression in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. While a lack of staffing has been prevalent in all businesses in Jackson, we have been fortunate to have bellman available to our guests. Anyone visiting town this summer will need to exercise a little more patience than usual due to a high number of visitors versus available staff. This can result in longer wait times in hotels and restaurants. We appreciate your compliments about our staff in general. Thank you.
Thank you for the compliments about our location and staff. We thought you were great too!
